Former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel has clapped back at Travis Kelce’s after he called her a “troll” for predicting Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift would end in disaster.
Frankel released a video talking about the relationship, saying that Travis and Taylor seem to have clashing personalities and that they may be incompatible.
Ed Kelce, Travis’ father, saw the video and posted on Facebook asking, “Who TF is this troll?”
Frankel responded on an episode of her “Just B” podcast, saying, “I truly understand and admire a parent who defends their child, especially when asked about it.
“I wish he had expressed an opinion instead of just a verbal insult. When we teach our children, it is better to express ourselves than just criticize.”

The reality TV star also joked, “Calling me a troll is great clickbait and yay for Travis Kelce’s dad.”
In a clip on Instagram, Frankel noted that Travis has a so-called “peacock” personality. She argued that this spelled trouble for that relationship because Swift is “definitely a peacock” and that there “can only be one peacock in a relationship.”
In the aftermath of Ed’s “troll joke,” Frankel claimed she “didn’t even criticize their relationship.” She added, “I just said there’s usually only one peacock in a relationship.”
Frankel says she has experience dating one of these “peacocks” — someone she described as “very over-the-top, very loud and gregarious and who needed to be the center of attention.”
‘I stand by that. I think Travis is,” Frankel said of her assessment.
She even went so far as to compare Ed’s punching her to Travis yelling in the face of his head coach, Andy Reid, during Super Bowl LVIII.
Frankel claimed, “I didn’t say (Travis) pushed his coach, which is a physical expression versus using your words and having a conversation. That sounds a bit like what his father did. He used an insult instead of using his intellect.”
Frankel defended her judgment, saying Travis and Taylor’s personalities could clash
She added that Ed’s choice “to get into it (with her) is just funny too” and said “Sorry, not sorry” for the headline-making story.
“Swifties can come for me, but I’m going to defend myself when I said they’re in my Mount Rushmore pair,” Frankel said — referencing the time she previously praised the pair.
“I literally think he’s a peacock and there are two peacocks in this relationship, and that usually doesn’t work. I’m allowed to think so,” Frankel continued.
“I don’t have to think about them getting married and spending their lives together. I hope they do, if that’s what they want.”
