During this transition period in a young girl’s life, Bethenny focuses on quality time with her daughter.

“We love rituals and creating memories for every holiday and every season. From picking vegetables to surfing to wakeboarding and snowboarding, we do a lot together,” said the reality TV star.

While her active daughter is very interested in “science, arts and sports,” Bethenny doesn’t want her to focus on an end result – an indication that this is a trait she hopes Bryn won’t inherit from her.

Bryn is creative and free. I don’t want her to be like me. I do not like her [worrying] about a certain goal,’ said the mother.

At the same time, Bethenny isn’t concerned about what others have to say about her parenting style, rather she told the outlet: “There is no perfect child or perfect parent.

‘You have to trust your gut, just like in business. No need to crowdsource parenting tips.

“Mothers can be judgmental. And I don’t believe in giving or taking unsolicited advice.’

In May, Bethenny took to Instagram and wrote a heartfelt tribute to her daughter, “I may work hard in business, but there’s nothing I take more seriously than being a mother to this sweet, beautiful girl of mine.”

For Bryn’s 13th birthday, Bethenny wrote about how much she loves her daughter’s “nice girl” traits and the teenager she is becoming.

“Every parent gushes, so I’ll try to restrain myself, but she’s perfect. I can’t believe how loving, sweet, silly, natural, grounded and just all around good she is,” she wrote affectionately.

“She was born a nice girl and she never strayed. She was blessed with as many gifts as I have flaws, and I am so grateful to be able to live this beautiful life with her.”

Months earlier, Bethenny gushed about her daughter again, writing in March, “I’m learning more every day than you know about you, and it gets deeper with time.”

Bryn’s father and Bethenny’s ex-husband is pharmaceutical sales manager Jason Hoppy, 52. They married in 2010 and then filed for divorce in 2013.

After a tumultuous legal battle, Bethenny finally won custody in 2020 before their divorce was finalized a year later.

That same year, Bethenny began dating her now fiancé, 45-year-old entrepreneur Paul Bernon.
