Best MORS gear, class built in Modern Warfare 3

The MORS stands out from most Modern Warfare 3 sniper rifles for one reason: it’s freakin’ railgun. Although still classified as a sniper rifle, the one major advantage of the MORS is that you have to ‘reload’ after every shot. But all that involves is a simple pull of the bolt, rather than loading a new magazine or individual bullets, so it’s much faster than its peers.

The MORS also has the ability to fire charged shots, which deal massive damage, and you can even customize it to become much better at taking down vehicles and armor. Snipers in Modern Warfare 3 are suitable for close-quarters combat via quickscoping or for extremely long-range combat, but the unique thing about the MORS is that it can essentially do both: you just have to build it right.

Here is the best MORS equipment Modern Warfare 3 and how to unlock it through the battle pass.

How to unlock the MORS in MW3

To unlock the MORS Modern Warfare 3 Season 3, you must complete Sector 4 on the battle pass. The fastest route is to complete Sectors 1 and 2 along the bottom of the grid. The MORS is also free to unlock, so you don’t need to own the premium battle pass. Simply earn a total of 15 Battle Pass Tokens and you can grab the MORS.

The best MORS gear is in here Modern Warfare 3:

  • Walk: Photonic charge vessel
  • Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
  • Stock: Superlite-90 stock
  • Bolt: Quick bolt
  • Back handle: OP-980 grip

As explained, this MORS gear is focused on versatility, allowing you to tackle enemies up close with quick exploration, but you can also slow down your game and take them out from a distance if necessary. The star of the show in this regard is the Photonic charge vessel, which allows you to hold the trigger to charge up a shot for more damage. The statistical payoff is that charged shots do a lot more damage, but uncharged shots are actually not that much weaker than using the gun without the attachment.

The important thing to keep in mind is that the barrel also affects bullet speed, so if you get in quick with it and don’t charge up your shots, it won’t be a problem because your enemy is probably quite close. However, if you don’t shoot from distance, the bullet will fall short. It’s a small trade-off for the benefits it offers.

Thanks to the Photonic Charge that carries the weapon at long range, it’s best to focus the rest of your attachments on the quickscope element, something the SL Razorhawk Laser Light excels at. This improves your running stability, tact stance spread, sprint-to-fire speed, and your downrange aiming speed, and the only trade-off is that your laser and flashlight will be visible when you aim through the sights. A very small disadvantage when it comes to this sniper.

The other three appendices have the same idea behind them, including the Superlite-90 stock, which trades recoil control for speed in many areas; the Quick bolt, allowing you to repost your next shot much faster; and the OP-980 grip for a much higher ADS speed. However, this is the most flexible mounting lock, so if you want to focus on dealing with vehicle damage, you can swap this out for a new type of ammo, or opt for an underbarrel mount instead, as there are plenty to choose from.

This is the best class to use alongside the MORS Modern Warfare 3:

  • Vest: Overkill vest
  • Subordinate: FJX Horus
  • Tactical: Flash grenade
  • Deadly: Throwing knife
  • Gloves: Marksman gloves
  • Boots: Reinforced boots
  • Acceleration: Tac mask

Since using a sniper rifle can put you in a sticky situation if you miss a few shots, roll with the Overkill vest makes sense, and what better weapon to use it with than the FJX Horus? The SMG packs a serious punch (especially if you equip it with the right gear) and you can switch to it at close range when you need to. The Overkill Vest also has the advantage of making weapon changes faster and allowing you to reload while sprinting.

The Flash grenade is a fairly standard tactic, useful for clearing rooms, while the Throwing knife is perfect for finishing enemies at close range, thanks to the fact that it is a one-hit kill. When it comes to the gloves, there are no options Awesome for this build, but the Overkill Vest also gives you the effects of Marksman Gloves if you have the Quick-Grip Gloves or Commando Gloves anyway, so you might as well get the Marksman gloves from the beginning.

The Reinforced boots making you immune to movement-reducing effects, which can be tricky in a fast-paced agility focus class like this. finally, the Tac mask will reduce the effects of enemy tactical grenades, a benefit whose helpfulness cannot be overstated.
