Best Buy announces Black Friday sale dates – deals start from October 27
Best Buy has announced the key dates for its upcoming Black Friday sales, with the events kicking off later this month. It really does get earlier every year, right?
It all starts on October 27 and 29, when My Best Buy members get exclusive early access to the retailer’s early Black Friday deals. Yes, that’s twice as early. Specific offers have not been announced at this stage, but the retailer has confirmed that TVs, computers, gaming, e-transport and many more product categories will all be covered.
Then on October 30, Best Buy will open the same early Black Friday deals to all shoppers. Hopefully you can still grab what you’re looking for at this later date. However, if you want to give yourself the best chance, you can sign up for a My Best Buy membership starting at $49.99 per year to get into the early access period.
But that’s just the beginning. The full Best Buy Black Friday sale starts on November 17 – that’s a full week before the actual day itself. The retailer promises there will be thousands of offers on everything from small gifts to top products from big brands.

The retailer also confirmed that the Best Buy Holiday Price Match Guarantee will be back in effect. That means if you buy a product and see it’s available at a lower price from November 24 to 27, Best Buy will match it so you don’t lose out.
Best Buy also has an extended return and exchange period during the US holiday season. This means that the majority of unwanted gifts purchased between October 27 and December 30 can be returned until January 13.
And if you prefer to shop in-store, extended holiday hours will apply from November 6. The stores are open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM local time, and on Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day.
