Introduced with Season 3 Reloaded, long time Duty players may remember this monster from the futuristic Advanced Warfarewhere it was widely regarded as one of the best weapons in the game.
On his debut in MW3 that seems to be the case – it debuts at 10th on our best guns list – but thanks to its versatility and frankly flawless iron sights, which eliminates the need for an optical sight.

How to unlock the BAL-27 in Modern Warfare 3
To unlock the BAL-27 Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reload, you have to complete Sector 23 in the battle pass. Although you would expect this to be right at the end, since it is the last level, Sector 23 is actually in the middle, between Sectors 6 and 13.
If you’re just starting your progress in the Battle Pass, the quickest route is from the start through Sectors 1, 2, 6 and then on to 23. As is the case with all weapons through the Battle Pass, it’s completely free to to unlock, provided you have enough tokens.

As explained above, the target is built in with this BAL-27 Modern Warfare 3 is to ensure that it is flexible, which means it must be capable of both long and short range. One of the most exciting additions to Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 wasn’t a weapon at all. Instead it was the Modular Assault Rig, which is perhaps the most powerful vest in the game as it allows you to have equipment in every slot and gives you two tactical and deadly grenades. It also means you’ll spawn with maximum ammo every time – something that will come in very handy with the BAL-27’s high rate of fire – and you’ll be able to resupply grenades from dead players.
With that in mind, the secondary we opted for is once again the obvious choice, as the Renetti is still the best pistol in the game. We’re opting for Stun Grenades in the tactical slot as they’re a solid all-rounder, and Breacher Drones are excellent at taking out opponents from afar where the slightly shaky recoil left you almost ready, but not quite yet.
In the Field Upgrade slot, the Trophy System is a godsend for protecting you on targets and in anchor positions, while the Marksman Gloves are a big help in landing your shots from distance. Alternatively, you can go for the Assault Gloves here if you find the ADS speed to be a bit slow.
As is always the case, you can pretty much choose from any of the boots available, but we opted for the Stalker boots thanks to the increased punish and ADS movement speed. The Covert Sneakers are a good choice if you find yourself constantly in danger from footstep sounds, while the All-Terrain Boots give a huge speed boost. Finally, the Tac Mask protects you from tactical grenade effects, or you can opt for EOD Padding if deadly grenades are more of a nuisance.
