Best AS VAL gear and class building in Black Ops 6

The best AS VAL gear in BlackOps6 is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to lie low and stay off the radar. This is because it comes with an integrated suppressor, and while the gun has other compromises to account for this and keep it balanced, this essentially means you have six attachments.

The biggest drawback to the AS VAL is the magazine size, as it only holds 20 rounds before you need to reload. However, if you dedicate one confirmation slot to improving that aspect, you can focus the rest of the build on controlling recoil and polishing the damage range, as this is a weapon you’ll want to play with quite slowly, no doubt in our list will occur. list of best weapons coming soon. It goes toe to toe with both the XM4 and the AMES 85, two assault rifles currently at the top of the list.

Here is the best AS VAL gear in BlackOps6the best class to use alongside it, and how to unlock the weapon.

How to unlock the ASH VAL in Black Ops 6

To unlock the ASH VAL BlackOps6you must reach level 55. That’s right: the AS VAL is the very last weapon you unlock before reaching prestige BlackOps6so you have quite a grind ahead of you if you just set your mind to using it. If you decide to gain prestige, you will of course lose access to the AS VAL, as reaching that rank will reset all your unlocks. The best AS VAL gear is in here BlackOps6:

  • Optics: Accu Spot Ultra Holo
  • Walk: Suppressed reinforced barrel
  • Underrun: Vertical handle
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Fire mods: Recoil springs

First and foremost, the AS VAL is not a weapon you want to run around with and slide around everywhere. It fires too slowly for that kind of playstyle; instead, you want to move tactically, aim around corners in advance and use cover to your advantage. For this reason it is a great weapon for Search & Destroy, although it can still be used in respawn modes if necessary.

The optical sight you choose is largely personal preference, but we have the Accu Spot Ultra Holo to be the best because it has more magnification than the red dot sights and you usually fight at medium range. Feel free to swap this out for something else if you prefer, but the rest of the attachments are more important.

All barrel attachments are suppressed here thanks to the aforementioned built-in suppressor, and the Reinforced barrel is by far the best choice as it improves both damage range and bullet speed. The latter isn’t as important in multiplayer as it is in Warzone, as the distances you fight at aren’t long enough to make a big difference, but the bonus is still useful. Then the Vertical handle is a huge help in reducing horizontal recoil, as the AS VAL is not terrible for gun control it’s not the best either.

As mentioned, the AS VAL comes standard with an incredibly small magazine with only 20 rounds in it, so we recommend using the Extended Mag I or II. We chose the latter because the drawbacks aren’t too severe if you play slowly – debuffs on reloading, aim down and sprint to fire rates – but if you find they hinder you too much, opt for the Extended Mag I .Finally the Recoil springs do what they say on the tin: improve recoil control.

This is the best class to use with the AS VAL in BlackOps6:

  • Pistol: Grechova
  • Battle: Knife
  • Tactical: Flashbang
  • Deadly: Frag
  • Field upgrade: Spring my
  • Advantage 1: Ghost
  • Advantage 2: Follower
  • Benefit 3: Cold-blooded
  • Specialty: Explore
  • Wild card: Curb greed
  • Benefit 4: Tac mask

The Grechova is the best choice for your sidearm because it is fully automatic and you can switch to it reliably when dealing with enemies at close range, while the Knife is almost always the best melee choice. Then go for the Flashbangwhich is by far the strongest tactical grenade in the game right now, thanks to how long the blinding effect lasts. As far as a lethal option goes, you can never go wrong with the old reliable Frag grenade.

In the Field Upgrade slot, choose one Spring my. While playing slowly, you can use this to protect a path behind you or on the flank, or you can simply drop it where enemies least expect it. (However, if you find yourself dying from grenades often, disable this for a trophy system.)

Go for the blue perks to enhance this stealth playstyle: Ghost protects you from enemy UAVs while moving, Follower allows you to see enemy footprints and targeting an enemy will automatically ping them Cold-blooded prevents you from being targeted by enemy scorestreaks. (This is more effective in respawn-based modes, though, so switch to Vigilance if you’re playing Search & Destroy.) Even though it’s been slightly tweaked, the Explore specialty that gives you short-term x-ray vision is still very strong.

Finally it is rounded off with the Curb greed wildcard and the Tac mask. However, since you’re not using a trophy system, you can disable this for Flak Jacket if you wish, or if you’re running a trophy system, consider Scavenger or Fast Hands in respawn mode.
