Channel Seven news anchor Jodie Speers has leaked text messages from a children’s entertainer who failed to show up at her daughter Pearl’s sixth birthday party.
Speers, 39, who is married to 2GB radio host Ben Fordham, hired the woman to host a Frozen themed party for Pearl and her friends in the role of Princess Anna.
But the entertainer did not arrive at 2:30 p.m. and later explained that her car had broken down that morning.

What frustrated Speers, however, was that she didn’t even bother to text that she wouldn’t come.
The journalist texted the Frozen impersonator at 2:50 PM asking where she was, only to receive a frantic but vague response minutes later.
‘Hello, I wonder where you are! Pearl’s party started at half past one,” Speers wrote.

The entertainer failed to arrive at 2:30pm and explained that her car had broken down that morning. What frustrated Speers, however, was that she didn’t even bother to say she wasn’t coming. (Pictured: The text exchange between Speers and the entertainer)
The entertainer replied, “Hello, I’m super sorry. I broke dows [sic] with my car this morning and I’ve had a really bad time.’
Speers texted back, “Why didn’t you message us that you weren’t coming?”
“Sorry I didn’t even think about it,” the woman wrote.
The mother of three posted a screenshot of the lyrics to Instagram on Sunday night, saying she would never hire a kid entertainer again.

‘Last time I trust a party entertainer! This one [happened] while 14 little girls excitedly waited for Anna from Frozen to appear,” she captioned the caption.
Speers and Fordham, who also hosts Channel Nine, were married in 2011 and are parents to three children, Freddy, Pearl and Marigold.
She has hosted the Early News bulletin for Channel Seven since January 2016.
