Ben Affleck’s ‘crazy’ cousin Zac is dubbed a ‘narcissist’ on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Hulu debuted its new reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Friday, starring Ben Affleck’s cousin Zac Affleck and his wife Jennifer.
The full eight-episode season is available to watch in its entirety and sheds light on the marriage between Zac, 28, and Jennifer, 25.
The seventh episode of the series – Jennifer goes on a girls’ trip to Las Vegas, which includes seeing a Chippendales show… which causes Zac to rant at his wife.
When he found out her wife was at the strip show, he texted her saying she “has no values or morals.”
When she left at 2am to visit Zac, all her friends took the opportunity to complain about him, including Demi Engemann, who called him ‘crazy’ and a ‘narcissist’.

Demi saw the messages Zac sent her and even claimed that Zac told her he didn’t love her anymore after she went to the male stripper’s show.
The rest of the girls went out to dinner without Jen and told him that he sometimes gambles, which is prohibited by the Mormon Church of Latter-day Saints (LDS).
Jen is eventually reunited with the rest of the girls and admits her husband did “wrong.”
She also admitted that he has “narcissistic traits” that “come out every few months.”
Jen, who revealed before the season started that she was named after Ben Affleck’s former wife Jennifer Lopez, spoke openly about her issues with him in an interview before the series kicked off.
“That was really hard because I think they were really concerned and I can’t blame them because what happened to me was very upsetting,” Jen said.
“It forced me to take a step back and look at my relationship and see it as imperfect,” she continued.
She added, “Because I think a lot of times as a Mormon Christian, you pretend like your relationship is perfect and everything is okay. But sometimes it’s not and that’s okay.

She added, “Because I think a lot of times as an LDS member you pretend that your relationship is perfect and everything is okay, and sometimes it’s not and that’s okay.
“So yeah, it really helped me that they supported me during that time, and I’m grateful for that,” Jen said of her friends.
“I don’t know if everyone had the right intentions at the time, and it’ll be interesting to look back on the show and see what everyone said when I wasn’t there versus when I was there,” she said.
Jennifer also revealed during the season that Ben Affleck is a second cousin of Zac’s father, and that Zac and Ben have only met in real life once.
She also said that ironically, she was named after Ben’s ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, adding, “I’m named after J.Lo because my mom was obsessed with J.Lo. Jennifer Lynn Lopez, my name is Jennifer Lynn Affleck. I’m like, ‘OK, Jenny from the neighborhood is here.'”
