Ben Affleck was spotted smiling on Tuesday morning as he headed to his office in Los Angeles.
The Air actor, who turns 52 on Thursday, appeared to be in high spirits, wearing a navy suit with dress shoes, Ray-Ban sunglasses and a black gym bag.
The sighting came after he reportedly spent time with his “estranged” wife Jennifer Lopez at his rented Los Angeles home on Sunday.
The Atlas actress dropped off her son Samuel, 12, after taking the child shopping, and appeared to stay in the house longer to reportedly chat with Ben.
The two have not been photographed together in public since June, while rumors persist that they are divorcing.
Some media outlets are claiming that they are waiting for the release of their film Unstoppable, which is due out next month, before announcing the end of their marriage.
Others have indicated that they want to wait until their second wedding anniversary, on August 20, to deliver the unfortunate news.

People claimed on Monday that Jennifer was with Ben on Sunday.
The 55-year-old diva had previously gone shopping at the Century City Mall with Samuel, the 12-year-old son he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, and dropped the child off before entering the house.
A source told the site that she would like to keep in touch with Ben’s children after living with them in their Bel Air mansion, which is now on the market for $68 million.
The former Fly Girl has been seen a few times with his daughter Violet. Affleck and Garner also have Serpahina, who goes by Finn.
This happened after fans claimed that Jenny sent a secret message to Ben.
Over the weekend, Lopez shared a post on Instagram in which she played a remix of her 1999 song If You Had My Love.
In the song, she warns a man that she will not tolerate him cheating on her.

She looked gorgeous in a yellow and white striped tank top by the pool of her Los Angeles mansion that she is trying to sell.
And she also had her wedding rings from Ben. ‘Slush summer crush’, her caption read.
But her choice of music for the post was suspect.
Fans think this song was meant for Ben, as the lyrics raise skepticism about a possible relationship. ‘Is this song for Ben???’, asked one follower.
In the song she sings: ‘If you had my love, And I gave you all my trust, Would you comfort me? And if somehow you knew, That your love was fake, Would you lie to me? And call me baby.

The song was first released in 1999, three years before she met Ben on the set of their film Gigli.
They got engaged, but split up just before their wedding.
Last week it was claimed that JLo’s close circle doesn’t like Ben.
That also applies to Jennifer’s longtime manager Benny Medina, a source told Page Six.
“These two can’t stand each other. They don’t get along and there’s still bad blood,” they claimed.
Benny had worked with Jennifer during her early successes, but their partnership ended in 2003.

According to multiple sources, Affleck played a role in Lopez’s decision to leave Medina.
However, she brought Benny back as her manager just a few years after she and the Armageddon star broke off their engagement in 2004.
Since then, he has remained one of her closest advisors and she has often been seen with him while staying in the Hamptons, away from Ben, who remained in Los Angeles.
Another source told Page Six that Benny tried to keep his “mouth shut” in favor of a more diplomatic approach to Jennifer’s second romance with Ben.
His attitude was, “I’m not going to say anything.” [There] was no, “Good for you”, but also, [he] “was not negative,” they claimed.
The source said there was no point in protesting as he would be convinced Jennifer would marry Ben regardless of his input.
Another person whose ties with Jennifer were temporarily severed due to her relationship with Ben was her good friend Leah Remini. However, the Gone Girl star does not appear to have played a direct role in the end of that friendship.

It was previously reported that Jennifer had ignored Leah and even refused to invite her to her wedding, after the King Of Queens star urged her to consider whether the aspects of Ben that were reportedly the cause of their split the first time around were still a factor.
However, the former friends managed to put their differences behind them earlier this year and Leah is said to have spent time with Jennifer and comforted her when she claimed to be having marital problems with Ben.
According to the second source: ‘Nobody, except [Lopez’s] mother, loves Ben Affleck. He’s a triple-A a**hole.’
As evidence, they pointed to recent reports that Affleck had postponed divorce proceedings in the hopes that Jennifer would not be present.
But an insider previously told the publication that it was far too late for that and that Jennifer already felt “humiliated” after Ben “took the initiative to get back together” in a relationship that had lasted such a short time.
