Ben Affleck-produced movie Unstoppable starring wife Jennifer Lopez ‘SUSPENDS filming amid writers’ strike’

Shooting for Jennifer Lopez’s film Unstoppable stopped Friday due to the ongoing writers’ strike.

Production of the wrestling drama film – starring the 53-year-old Maid In Manhattan actress – was interrupted during protests by the Writers Guild of America, aaccording to deadline.

It’s not known when the biopic — from her husband Ben Affleck’s indie production company starring Matt Damon, Artists Equity — will resume filming, but is expected to resume at the latest at the end of the strike, the publication reported.

Just weeks earlier, the Jenny of the Block singer was spotted getting into character and showing off a plethora of fake tattoos while on set in Los Angeles when filming began.

Since then, the strike – announced by WGA on May 1 – effectively halted their Wednesday shooting, and now production has been completely suspended for now.

The film tells the true story of three-time All-American wrestler Anthony Robles – played by Jharrel Jerome – as he triumphed and won a national championship in the state of Arizona, despite being born with only one leg.

Oscar-winning Argo editor William Goldenberg makes his feature film directing debut with the film.

The Hustler alum’s role in the film is currently unknown and a release date has yet to be revealed.

Previously, Lopez and Affleck — who recently bought a $60 million Beverly Hills mansion together — met on the set of Gigli in 2002.

At the time, she was still married to her second husband, Cris Judd, before they called it quits and divorced in 2003.

The Bronx native and two-time Academy winner, 50, began dating and got engaged shortly after, and the following year they starred opposite each other in the comedy drama Jersey Girl.

Unstoppable is the first film the two will work on in 20 years.

In January 2004, the couple called it quits before rekindling their romance many years later in 2021 following her divorce from former MLB player Alex Rodriguez.
