Ben Affleck leans on Matt Damon as BFFs head to dinner in LA amid Jennifer Lopez divorce
Ben Affleck sought support from his friend Matt Damon after his split from Jennifer Lopez.
The 52-year-old Oscar winner dined with his 53-year-old best friend at Italian restaurant Toscana in Brentwood on Sunday night.
The duo were joined by Damon’s wife, Luciana Barroso, 48.
The friends were spotted leaving the restaurant separately, with newly single Affleck appearing somber as he left the restaurant alone.
Meanwhile, Damon seemed to be in good spirits as he left with his wife Luciana, flashing a broad smile as he bid farewell to his friends.

Affleck kept it casual for the outing, wearing a button-up shirt over a plain T-shirt.
He paired the top with jeans and his trusty Nike sneakers.
Matt, meanwhile, was wearing a black polo shirt that showed off his muscular arms, jeans and white sneakers.
He looked utterly jovial as he left the restaurant with his beautiful wife.
Luciana was also in a cheerful mood for the outing, wearing a black, tight tank top that showed off her slim abs, along with flowy bottoms.
Damon has been married to Luciana since 2005 and they have three children: daughters Gia, 14, Stella, 13, and Isabella, 16. Damon is also stepfather to Luciana’s daughter from a previous relationship, Alexia, 24.
Affleck and Damon are childhood friends who first rose to fame after writing and starring in the 1997 hit drama series Good Will Hunting.
Earlier this month, amid rumors swirling about the state of Affleck and Lopez’s marriage, Damon said he “could never imagine living like” his famous friend.

Matt said it was fortunate that his private life was largely ignored, as his 19-year marriage to Luciana was considered “boring”.
To promote his new film The Instigators, in which he stars alongside Ben’s brother Casey (49), Matt said Radio Time Podcast: ’25 years ago, the tabloid culture was huge, but they ignored me.
‘I wasn’t an exciting story; the man who’s married, that’s boring! Scandal and sex, that’s what people read magazines for. I was really lucky.’

He continued, “Especially when I look at Casey’s brother, Ben. We’ve had parallel careers in a lot of ways, but I can’t imagine living under that scrutiny for 25 years.”
The Sunday dinner comes just days after Affleck’s ex-wife filed for divorce earlier this week, on Tuesday, on their second wedding anniversary.
Lopez filed the necessary documents and drew up a prenuptial agreement without a lawyer, two years after the couple tied the knot in July 2022. The following month, on August 20, the second wedding ceremony took place.
After months of rumors of a separation, Lopez ended her marriage to Affleck on Tuesday by filing for divorce.
She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split and named April 26, 2024 as the date of separation.
