Ben Affleck is ‘moving into Jennifer Lopez’s $28M Bel-Air mansion after a massive renovation’

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been house hunting in Los Angeles for months with claims that they had plunked down $60 million for James Packer’s Beverly Hills estate in June.

But on Wednesday TMZ reported that the newlyweds have not bought a new home and now they have no plans to.

Rather, they will spend a year renovating the sizeable mansion Lopez already owns in Bel-Air before moving back into the dwelling in late 2023.

In the meantime the power couple will be staying at Packer’s rental.

This comes after news Ben has put his Pacific Palisades mansion on the market for $30 million.

Will stay put: But on Wednesday TMZ reported that the newlyweds have not bought a new home and now they have no plans to. Rather, they will spend a year renovating the sizeable mansion Lopez already owns in Bel-Air before moving back into the dwelling in late 2023

He first snapped up the property, complete with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gym, screening room and spa, for $19.2 million back in 2018.  At the time, he bought the plush home in a bid to be near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with whom he remains amicable since their 2015 split.

Now they will wait until JLo’s home is redone.

The site claimed that the plan is now to call Lopez’s Mediterranean style mansion, which she purchased from actress Sela Ward in 2016, their dream forever home.

She already renovated it once after she purchased it, but they are going to do it again.

The home already has plenty of room for both their kids – he has three (daughters Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13 and 10-year-old son Samuel) with ex-wife Garner and she has twins (Emme and Max, 14) with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Inside there is a chef’s kitchen with an island, a glam room for Jennifer, a gym and a home theater.

Lopez has used the home as a place to film videos for her JLo Beauty Instagram page. She is often seen in one of her bathrooms doing skincare tutorials.

In the past, Jennifer has owned homes in Hidden Hills, California and New York City.

Temporary: In the meantime the power couple will be staying at James Packer’s $60 milloon Beverly Hills rental

The 49-year-old Batman star tied the knot with his new wife, 53, during an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.

Now the couple are living in Packer’s home.

Moving trucks were recently spotted outside each of their respective homes.

The home is owned by Australian billionaire James Packer, who’s the former fiancé of Mariah Carey. Other previous residents include Danny DeVito and his ex-wife, Matilda alum Rhea Perlman.

His old digs: This comes after news Ben has put his Pacific Palisades mansion on the market for $30 million

DeVito and Perlman sold the seven-bedroom home in 2015 for $28 million to developers Stuart and Stephanie Liner. The Liners then made numerous upgrades to the estate and listed it for $85 million. Packer then bought the property for around $60 million in 2018.

The house sprawls across 29,000-square-feet, which would allow ample space for the couple’s blended brood of five children.

The massive estate is also said to have many luxury amenities and perks, including an at-home movie theater, a hair salon, a gym, an entertainment room, a wine cellar, a sprawling pool, and even multiple guest houses.
