Belurat legacy dungeon walkthrough for Elden Ring DLC

Hornsent grandmother is an NPC you encounter while exploring Belurat Elden Ring‘S Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. You’ll need to pick up the storage room key and unlock the storage room door before you can meet her. After your first conversation, you can contact her a few more times after defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion and Messmer the Impaler.

Hornsent Grandam location

You will find Hornsent grandmother while you explore Belura. You will meet her after you find the Storeroom Key.

Hornsent Grandmother first meeting

Use the Key for storage to open a door south of the Small Private Altar Place of Mercy. You meet each other inside Hornsent grandmother. Nothing to do with her yet, but she is creatively offensive.

Return after defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion

After you defeat the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, you’ll get the (ridiculous) Divine Beast Head Helmet. Return to Hornsent Grandam and put on the helmet before talking to her again. Importantly, you must do this for defeating Messmer the Impaler at Maintain shade.

This time she has a lot of new dialogues for you and you get the Watchful mind games. Go back to the place of grace and then return again. This time she gives you some Scorpion Stew.

After Castle Ensis you will meet Hornsent at its second location on the Grace’s Highroad Cross site. You can give him the Scorpion Stew for some more dialogue (but it doesn’t seem to have any real effect).

You may also notice that Hornsent Grandam asks you to take her son into battle (presumably Hornsent), but this doesn’t seem to affect her quest.

Return (again) and defeat Messmer the Impaler

Once you defeat Messmer the Impaler at Shadow Keep, return to Hornsent Grandam (with or without a helmet). This time you get the Gourmet scorpion stewthat acts as a healing item and restores your health over time.

Then she dozes off and you can’t get anything else out of her until you beat the DLC’s final boss.
