Below Deck’s ‘hot captain’ Jason Chambers reveals he once had to lock himself in his cabin to keep out horny female passengers lusting after him
There’s no denying that Below Deck: Down Under’s Captain Jason Chambers is hot cargo.
And the reality star, 39, has revealed the measures he has had to take to prevent passengers from flirting with him at sea.
Speaking to The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Wednesday, the single dad admitted that he once had to hide in his cabin to keep the horny women from lusting after him.
“There were a few last season [of female passengers] on the last charter… I actually locked my door,” Jason admitted.
Sandilands, who watched the show last season, interjected: “[The women] were drunk kettles… they wanted that captain more than anything.”

“They were nice, but I see why you should have locked the door,” he added with a laugh.
It comes after Jason exclusively told Daily Mail Australia that he is looking for an ‘adventurous’ woman to date.
The sailor, who is the father of one son of Saskia, eight, from a previous relationship, said he has “spent a lot of time” to his daughter and is looking for someone who is “independent and secure”.
“There were a few last season [of female passengers] on the last charter… I actually locked my door,” he told The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Wednesday
He said that while he is not actively looking for a partner at the moment, he has a very particular type of woman that he is attracted to.
“For me to be in a relationship, someone has to be very independent and secure in their own situation. So that’s hard to find,” he said.
“Someone has to be acceptable to what I’m doing, which is my daughter and my job. So they have to go their own way.’

He went on to say that his ideal partner is someone who can help him get “better” and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle.
“Like someone who makes me get out of bed to do some exercise. Which I love to do, but sometimes I can be a lazy a**,” he said.
“So freediving, adventurous and healthy, and get better at that because I want to get better at that too.”

It comes as season two of Below Deck Down Under premieres exclusively for Hayu, as a new crew is welcomed at the helm of the vintage M/Y Northern Sun.
Viewers can expect complicated love pentagons, unruly guests, the return of beloved characters and controversial new crew members.
And there are enough bubbling tensions and issues to rock the boat with Captain Jason about to fire a crew member later in the season.
It won’t be the first time he’s kicked someone off the boat after the reality TV star gave crew members Magda Ziomek and Ryan McKeown the boat last season.
However, he promised that this time around there would be huge changes in the way he deals with crew members who misbehave.
‘I won’t say too much. But it’s all dramatic and it’s worth it and I think I did the right thing for the boat itself to have the best team in the end,” he said.
