Below Deck Down Under: Aesha Scott breaks down in tears as she talks about being raped while drunk in surfaced clip – after shocking sexual misconduct scandal

Below Deck Down Under’s Aesha Scott was visibly distraught on this week’s episode of the series following a sexual misconduct scandal that saw two crew members fired.

The 31-year-old expressed extreme concern for drunken castmate Margot Sisson on Monday’s episode, long before deckhand Luke Jones had even entered Sisson’s cabin naked and crawled into bed with her while she slept.

Now a surfaced clip from season four of Below Deck Mediterranean has revealed why Scott was so upset about the whole ordeal.

In the episode, which aired in 2019, Scott opened up about being raped after a heavy night of drinking.

“I remember being so apologetic to the detective and I kept apologizing thinking it was my fault, acting like I shouldn’t have been there drunk,” she yelled to producers.

And she kept saying, “We all get drunk, but you have a right to feel safe getting that drunk and coming home.”

“So I just think it’s important for women who get into these situations not to blame themselves because you should be able to get drunk and go home without worrying.”

On Below Deck Down Under, Aesha expressed concern for flight attendant Margot after drinking too much with the rest of the crew.

“I just want to guide her a little bit,” she explained.

“I remember being so apologetic to the detective and I kept apologizing thinking it was my fault, acting like I shouldn’t have been there drunk,” she sobbed to producers

“I just think it’s important for women who get into these situations not to blame themselves because you should be able to get drunk and go home without worrying about it,” she added up to it.

Despite Margot’s intoxicated state, Luke repeatedly tried to flirt with her, asking her to “cuddle” him while they were in the back of a car together.

“No, let’s go,” she replied, before making it clear that she just wanted to “go to bed.”

When Aesha brought her back to her cabin, she assured Margot that she would not allow herself to be “used” by “any drunkenness.”

“I’d like to see you get into bed safely. I’ll get you some water,’ she told Margot.

Producers stepped in and told him to get himself out of Margot’s bed, where she slept after a heavy night of drinking

Later, Luke entered Margot’s room in only his boxers as he asked her to join him in the hot tub.

“I just saw the way Luke looked at you, and I feel very protective,” Aesha told Margot.

Margot replied, “I’m glad you’re here. I don’t want to go in the jacuzzi, I want to go to bed. All I want is water and bed, not Luke.’

When Luke came back from the Jacuzzi, he headed for Margot’s cabin, where she was sleeping alone.

Aesha rushed in to check on Margot after the incident

After he got into her bed, producers stepped in and told Luke to leave her alone.

“Can you fuck off?” he told the cameramen.

“We can’t do that, she said no, she said no,” the producers told him.

Once Aesha has returned to the cabin, she tells her friend that Luke had been in her cabin and ran out ‘naked’.

‘Oh my God. Uh, was he naked?’ Margot replied, to which Aesha asked, “Have you agreed to have him here?”

“No, I was asleep,” Margot said. “I didn’t invite that one at all.”

Aesha was distraught when she went to see Captain Jason Chambers to report the incident

Captain Jason consoled a sobbing Aesha, who was clearly triggered by what happened

Aesha then informed Captain Jason, who wanted to know if Sisson was ‘safe’.

So she’s safe? She’s safe, yes?’ said Captain Jason. “She’s safe,” Aesha said.

Aesha tearfully claimed that Luke had tried to “take advantage of Margot’s drunkenness” while she was “completely unconscious” in bed.

Captain Jason then entered Luke’s room and ordered him to stay overnight in a hotel.

The 31-year-old has appeared in multiple seasons of Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Down Under so far

After the episode aired, Aesha took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and to warn about the dangers of drinking

The next morning, Jason gathered the rest of the crew and told them that Luke was being fired.

He also lectured the crew on the importance of consent and boundaries and emphasized the rules they had to follow while on board.

Jason then fired Luke, who simply replied, “I’ll accept that.”

After the episode aired, Aesha took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and to warn about the dangers of drinking.

“I know that first and foremost we should always feel safe, but life isn’t always like this, so watch your friends and make sure no one goes home alone,” she warned.
