A 17-year-old girl has died days after she was injured in a car crash while on her way to see the Christmas lights.
Kinslee Creed had been a passenger in a vehicle involved in a crash on Hadley Road in Harris County, Georgia, on Friday.
The high school student was sitting in the front seat of a Chevy Tahoe when a Chrysler 300 driver improperly changed lanes. According to Georgia State Police, the driver of the Chrysler struck the car in which Creed was a passenger, causing the Tahoe to leave the road and overturn.
Creed, who was traveling to see the Christmas lights at the time, was rushed to hospital and taken to the intensive care unit, where she died from her injuries on Monday.
“You were sunshine in human form, and no one could ever extinguish your light. We love you, Kinslee. Thank you for the way you brightened our lives,” said a friend in a touching tribute.

The teen had lived in LaGrange, Georgia and was a senior at Callaway High School.
On Tuesday evening, the school held a moment of silence for Creed before a basketball game.
An obituary for Creed described her as “unapologetically herself” and that she enjoyed spending time with her family, boyfriend and close friends.
In a post on social media, Creed's mother Laura Buice said: 'I don't have the words because my world has collapsed and my heart has been broken into a million pieces.
“I want everyone to know that I see the messages and messages and see how my sweet girl has impacted so many lives.
“Even though I can't reply right now, please keep sharing and posting so I can see her the way you all saw her.”
A GoFundMe has been created to help her family, who have no life insurance and need help with funeral costs.
A message accompanying the fundraiser said: “Unfortunately, after a tough battle, Kinslee was given her angel wings.
“The family has no life insurance and needs help with funeral costs. Everything helps. Thank you all for the prayers.”

It added: “As many of you know, Kinslee Creed, a 17-year-old senior at Callaway High School, was in a very serious car accident Friday evening on the way to see the Christmas lights. She has been in intensive care in the intensive care unit ever since.
“Her parents and many other family and friends were by her side every second. Not leaving the hospital at all.
“They've had to take time off work and the holidays are just around the corner.
“Please let's come together and help this family with medical expenses, food, bills and the holidays to take the pressure off them.”
Since it started earlier this week, the fundraiser has raised more than $18,000 and friends have also left tributes to her on social media.
One person wrote: 'My dear friend, we miss you so much. You have made such a big impact on so many people.
“You lit up every room you entered in your life, and you made everyone you encountered smile and laugh.
Another commented: 'She was truly a shining star and a breath of fresh air in the world we live in.
'The moment I found out, my heart skipped a beat and I couldn't believe it was real. I prayed and prayed and prayed for a miracle, but God called her home.”
A funeral service will be held next Wednesday at the Baptist Tabernacle in LaGrange.
