Bella Ramsey reveals she wants to star as Batman villain The Joker: ‘I haven’t played a baddy before!’
Bella Ramsey wants to play The Joker in her next role.
The 20-year-old actress admitted she has yet to play a villain and thinks superhero Batman’s infamous nemesis in the DC Universe would be the role for her.
She said Boy Bible: ‘I haven’t really played a bad guy yet. So I want to play a villain. But as a very interesting, complicated, complex villain.”
When asked about playing the DC villain, Bella admitted that stepping into the shoes of other actors like Joaquin Phoenix and Jared Leto would be something.
She said, ‘Yes. That’s actually what I thought too. The Joker, such a person is really interesting’

Bella recently starred in Lena Dunham’s film, Catherine Called Birdy.
The Last Of Us star got her breakout role as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones at the age of 13 before starring in the title role of Mildred Hubble in the CBBC series The Worst Witch.
Following her portrayal of a drug-addicted inmate in prison drama series Time earlier this year opposite former Doctor Who actress Jodie Whittaker, she was named as one of 42 people on this year’s BAFTA Breakthrough list.
Speaking about the honour, she said: ‘It’s a great honour. I think the word BAFTA carries so much prestige.
‘It’s quite strange that I am now associated with that. But really sweet. And yes, an honor, I am enthusiastic’.
The Nottingham-born star went on to reflect on her time in the industry, noting how she and her parents made the conscious decision to keep her out of the public eye at such a young age.
She said: ‘I actually think my journey through the industry has gone in a way that I’m very happy with.’

She added: ‘For example, I think we chose the right route in terms of when Game Of Thrones everything came out.
‘We took the route of doing nothing at all, not doing any interviews, not giving any personal information, just like it was so terrifying.
‘While my parents were so scared that we kept everything very private and hardly did any interviews, like three phone calls.
‘And I’m really proud of that. And I’m really happy that I was on until The Last Of Us, as if I was fairly anonymous, even though I’ve done other work
