Bella Hadid, 27, is the new face of luxury jewelry brand Chopard.
The model has been tapped as the company’s newest ambassador, following in the footsteps of 56-year-old Julia Roberts, who began modeling for Chopard in 2021 and even designed a collection for them.
In a statement issued to WWD.comBella spoke about the new deal.
“I have so much appreciation for Chopard’s craftsmanship and have been an admirer of theirs for years,” Gigi Hadid’s sister told
“I am so happy to be part of the Chopard family.”
Caroline Scheufele, Co-Chairman and Artistic Director of Chopard, added: ‘Bella embodies the spirit of Chopard: a harmonious blend of effortless elegance and joie de vivre that is truly enchanting and perfectly in tune with what our watches and jewellery stand for.

The news comes at a busy time for Bella, who recently took her first steps into the business world by launching her own perfume company, Orebella.
She has created three perfumes that moisturize the skin and provide a long-lasting scent, after previously suffering from irritation problems.
Bella told Allure magazine, “I get hives and rashes just from stress, so I avoid anything that will irritate my body these days.”
Bella added about creating her first oil-based fragrances: ‘I tried to make them as unique as possible, so that when I put them on my body it would feel unique to me…
“I didn’t want to just launch something that was another product or another perfume. It was something I was already very passionate about, and I didn’t want to keep it to myself any longer.”
The collection consists of three fragrances: Window2soul with jasmine, rose and tonka bean, Blooming Fire with notes of monoi, bergamot and patchouli and Salted Muse with sea salt, olive tree and cedar wood.
In March, Roberts, who has starred in Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, The Pelican Brief, the Oceans 11 films and, most recently, Ticket To Paradise, was promoted to Chopard’s “global ambassador.”
But it seems she has now lost her title to Bella.
And the Oscar winner is still the face of Lancôme, a company she has worked for since 2009. In her latest ad, she wears a crisp white shirt.

In 2009, it was reported that Lancome paid her more than $50 million. It is not known what her salary will be in 2023.
When Julia worked for Chopard, she represented all the women’s watches, haute couture and luxury jewelry collections.
She shone in the spring 2024 Chopard advertisements.
Roberts looked younger than her age as she wore heart-shaped diamond earrings, which she fell in love with the first time she saw them.
The Hollywood icon was also spotted in a magenta turtleneck while trying on other diamonds.
The company said: ‘Like the best films, jewellery is more than a feast for the eyes. It fuels our imagination.

And they added, “Be yourself and shine like the star that you are.”

Although she is now a model, Roberts is still very active in her film career.
She’s reportedly set to team up with Jennifer Aniston next on a body-swapping comedy for Amazon Studios.
The Mother’s Day co-stars are expected to star in a new comedy from Palm Springs director Max Barbakow, following an action-packed auction among four other studios.
The film — which Deadline first learned of — will be produced by Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment following the sale, which was brokered by CAA.
Aside from the two actresses and the financiers, not much else is known about the film other than its name or logline.
But Julia recently returned to romantic comedy in the Ol Parker-directed film Ticket to Paradise, starring opposite George Clooney.
It was a 2022 film about divorced parents who reunite at their daughter Lily’s wedding in Indonesia.
Recently, the actress, who has three children with her husband Danny Moder, film producer and 53-year-old husband: Henry (15) and 16-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, met Eddie Redmayne.
He excitedly told that he had met the star of his “favorite” movie, Pretty Woman, through their mutual friend Jessica Chastain.
The 41-year-old actor told Laverne Cox at the recent Critics Choice Awards: ‘It’s absolutely true: I am obsessed with Julia Roberts.
“I told Jessica that Pretty Woman was one of my favorite movies, and Jessica decided to force Julia to come over and say hello,” he joked.
‘The result?'[Jessica] made it very intimidating, because you want to be cool when you meet Julia Roberts, and that didn’t happen.’
