Beetlejuice sequel official trailer released! Michael Keaton returns to iconic role as he haunts Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega in brand new sneak peek for Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice

Bio-exorcist Beetlejuice is back and ready to haunt a whole new generation of the living.

The official trailer for Tim Burton’s highly anticipated sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, was finally released on Thursday, with stars Michael Keaton, 72, Winona Ryder, 52, and Catherine O’Hara, 70, all returning to their iconic roles.

Years have passed since the events of the original film, and now Lydia Deetz (Winona) is the mother of a teenage daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega).

Lydia assumed she would never hear from the mischievous entity again – until her daughter comes across an advertisement for a ‘Bio Exorcist’ during their attack.

It is Astrid who eventually brings Beetlejuice back by saying his name three times, despite her mother’s stern warnings.

“When I was a demon, a trickster demon terrorized our entire family and tried to force me to marry him,” Lydia warns Astrid. “I thought he was gone forever until you found this in the attic,” she said, referring to the poster.

“Who is Beetlejuice?” Astrid asks her mother.

“Never say that name!” Lydia angrily tells her daughter.

But after her daughter repeats his name, Lydia pleads, “No Astrid! I am serious!’

“If you say his name three times, he will appear,” she almost whispers.

Astrid casually says the demon’s name for the third time. “Beetlejuice,” she says, summoning the iconic entity.

Beetlejuice, dressed in his iconic black and white suit, appears before the duo. “The juice is loose,” he says.

Viewers will then see clips from their wild ride into the underworld, where they meet a whole host of new faces, played by Justin Theroux and Willem Dafoe.

Burton’s real-life girlfriend, Monica Bellucci, also stars as Beetlejuice’s wife.
