She continued, “We’ve got three major radio stations — that’s Kiss, Capital and Radio One — and once you’ve promoted all three, you’ve pretty much promoted your single on the radio.

“Whereas in the United States you have at least three per state, so you have to go to each state, build relationships, meet presenters, so I felt really lucky that I managed to get on television.”

Despite this, Becky, a Worcestershire native, said performing in the United States has been “incredible” so far, with crowds in states like LA, San Francisco and Montreal really making her feel like she was “on to something.”
