Beck announces a summer 2023 tour with French group Phoenix kicking off in Seattle this August
Musician Beck will hit the road this summer, taking French alternative band Phoenix for a ride.
The 52-year-old musician took to Instagram Monday to announce the 19-city tour, which kicks off in Seattle this August, after another notable Beck, guitarist Jeff Beck, passed away.
The singer will also be joined by other musicians including Jenny Lewis, Japanese Breakfast, Weyes Blood and Sir Chloe on select dates.

‘Beck & Phoenix are excited to announce their ‘Summer Odyssey’ North American tour!’ the groups said in the caption of Beck’s Instagram.
“Featuring special guests @jennydianelewis, @jbrekkie, @weyesblood and @SirChloe (in select cities),” the caption added.

The tour kicks off Aug. 1 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, with Jenny Lewis, who will stay with the Beck for the Bend, OR show on Aug. 3, the Concord Pavilion show in Concord, CA on Aug. 5, and the Kia Forum. in Los Angeles. on august 7
Japanese Breakfast will join the tour on August 8 for their show at Viejas Arena in San Diego, and will remain for the August 9 show at OC Fair in Costa Mesa, CA, the August 11 show at Footprint Arena in Phoenix on August 11. the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on August 12 and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver on August 15.
Weyes Blood joins the tour at the August 18 show at Walmart AMP in Rogers, AR, and remains on board for the August 20 show at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, the August 21 show at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on August The February 22 show at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, though he won’t be at the August 31 show at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion.

Blood will remain on the remainder of the tour, with stops on September 2 at the Pine Knob Music Theater in Detroit, on September 3 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, on September 5 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, on September 8 at the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia, September 9 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and the final stop on September 10 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Washington DC
Sir Chloe will serve as the opening act for all 19-date stops this summer.
Beck hasn’t released a new album since 2019’s Hyperspace, though he has appeared on a few collaborations lately.
