A new mum has revealed how she lost 25lbs in just five months after she set out to lose the feel-good weight in a dress at a friend’s wedding.

Customer service manager Sarah Wood, 32, of Victoria, said that even before having a baby, she always had a “toxic mindset” around food.

“My all-or-nothing approach caused me some really bad relationships with food and alcohol,” Sarah told FEMAIL.

However, after having a baby girl, Sarah said she found it extremely difficult to shed some of her excess weight, tipping the scales at 86.9kg.

Five months ago, Sarah discovered the Australian weight loss nutritionist. bec miller‘Three Week Body Reset Program’ by chance when I was browsing Instagram.

The three-week body reset is designed to help women lose weight without starving.

It also aims to banish bloating, boost women’s energy, and help them find peace with the way they eat.

The reboot promises no small meals, ‘regular store’ ingredients, a focus on gut health, and some education to set you up for long-term success.

I clicked on Bec’s page through an ad I saw on Instagram and saw some before and afters of women who had done the reboot. I was hugely impressed with her results,’ said Sarah.

‘When I read more about the plans and what they included, I was surprised at how easy they seemed to stick with and stick with.

“I have literally tried so many fad diets and other eating plans and wasted so much money. But nothing ever worked.

BREAKFAST: Either fasting, or a smoothie or coconut yogurt with berries and protein powder.

FOOD: Leftovers from the night before, possibly a bowl of peanut satay.

AFTERNOON SNACK: Fruit and/or a Salud con Bec snack like a slice of caramel, banana bread, blueberry bread, or pumpkin muffin.

DINNER: A plan meal like fish curry with cauliflower rice.

Deciding to give it a try, Bec said she soon swapped out her carbohydrate meals and snacks for high-protein options.

“My diet and exercise before the reset were never particularly unhealthy, I exercised about three times a week, however, due to breastfeeding, I ate very high-carbohydrate meals to feel full,” Sarah said.

“I was also reaching for sugary treats a lot and didn’t prioritize protein at all, therefore I was always hungry.”

A typical day on your plate during the reboot might include a morning fasted or a coconut smoothie or yogurt with berries and protein powder for breakfast after the gym.

Lunch can be whatever you had for dinner the night before, usually something like a bowl of peanut satay with cauliflower rice.

“My afternoon snack is usually fruit, or a Health With Bec sweet like a caramel slice, blueberry bread, pumpkin muffin, or banana bread,” Sarah said.

Finally, dinner is likely to be a meal from one of the meal plans. Sarah especially loves the fish curry with cauliflower rice.

She completes her healthy diet with four F45 sessions per week, made up of two weight training sessions, one cardio session, and one mixed session.

“I also try to go out every day and take a walk with my daughter in the stroller,” she added.

BEFORE AND AFTER: Sarah said she was never in poor health, but always reached for high-carbohydrate meals and sugary snacks, especially after having her daughter.

In just three weeks, Sarah said she lost around 4.3kg, and is now down to just 75kg and continuing her healthy approach.

“In addition to feeling much happier with the way I look physically, I’m happy with how I feel mentally,” she said (a typical meal pictured).

‘I’m the best fit I’ve ever felt and my way of thinking has completely changed. Bec’s eating plans have not only helped me lose weight, but they have also taught me how to incorporate delicious food and drink without constantly having to restrict, making sticking to the eating plans so much more doable.’

Sarah added: ‘It’s the best I’ve felt in a long time. I really believe it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change.’

When nutritionist Bec shared Sarah’s weight loss results on Instagram, it wasn’t long before thousands of people were congratulating the 32-year-old’s hard work.

‘Oh my god, this is insane! I have to say that the low carb, very low sugar diet has been so good for me! I love your approach and I love being healthy,” wrote one woman.

‘Such an amazing result. This gives me hope that I could finally lose my Covid weight,’ added another.

A third wrote: ‘Amazing results.’
