A nutrition coach has told how she makes Hungry Jacks Whoppers guilt-free with budget purchases from Aldi.

Bec Hardgrave from Brisbane uses eight ingredients to create the perfect ‘fake-away’ snacks that contain just 360 calories per serving.

The nutritionist’s philosophy is that you don’t have to follow a bland diet of chicken and broccoli if you want to eat healthy and lose weight.

Bec has previously shared her expert recipes for other fast food alternatives, including McDonald’s McChicken burgers and the popular Nando’s Chicken and Chips.

She first went to Aldi to pick up the ingredients: brioche buns, 120 grams of five-star ground beef, 30 grams of chopped tomatoes, 30 grams of chopped pickles, 20 grams of brown onion, shredded iceberg lettuce ($1.99), low-sugar tomato sauce ($1.39). ) and light mayonnaise ($2.59).

“These are super easy to make,” Bec shared in a video.

‘I start by rolling my minced meat into balls, seasoning them with salt and pepper and pressing them into patties in a pan.’

Once the meat is done, Bec starts putting together her meal.

She puts the patty, tomato sauce, sliced ​​pickles, onion, tomato and lettuce on one slice, and only light mayonnaise on the other.
