Bebe Rexha came by The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday and talked about her weight gain and PCOS, or being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.
The Say My Name singer, 33, admitted to reading the comments on one of her recent TikTok videos and was not happy with what was being said about her.
“Listen, we’re in the public eye, so that’s going to happen,” she told Hudson.
“I was a lot thinner and I gained some weight — that’s part of the territory. I’m not mad about it because it’s true, but when you see things like that, it messes with you.
“You don’t know what someone’s going through, what they’re going through in their life, so it’s kind of hard. But I feel like we’re in 2023…we shouldn’t be talking about people’s weight,” she added.
“Listen… I like to eat, okay? I like to eat,” the singer added, while Hudson, 41, added, “There’s nothing wrong with that!”

The Brooklyn-born singer said she couldn’t help but watch the comments when she saw “Bebe Rexha weight gain” trending on TikTok.
“It’s so shocking to see that search bar. I’m not mad because it’s true. I did arrive. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me anyway,” she tweeted.
“I’ve always struggled with my weight. A bi*** likes to eat. I work on myself every day. I’m a little discouraged right now,” she added.

The Meant To Be singer also revealed that she has been writing songs since she was 13 years old and opened up about her recent PCOS diagnosis.
“I went to the doctor last year — and a lot of women have this and they don’t know it — but they diagnosed PCOS, which is polycystic ovary syndrome,” she revealed.
She continued, “It is one of the main causes why women gain weight and are obese. I literally jumped about 30 pounds that fast, maybe a little more. But we just have to be positive and show people love.’
