Three-time Grammy nominee Bebe Rexha discovered she was trending on TikTok on Sunday while scrolling through videos of herself when an automatic search bar popped up suggesting the topic “Bebe Rexha weight.”
“It’s so disturbing to see that search bar,” says the 33-year-old Brooklyn-born Albanian — who has 35.9 million social media followers — tweeted.
“I’m not mad because it’s true. I did arrive. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what.”
Bebe (born Bleta) allowed: ‘I’ve always struggled with my weight. A bi*** likes to eat.’
Rexha continued: ‘I work on myself every day. I’m a little discouraged now.’

When Twitter user @SugaRboo2054 pointed out that her image was illegally used for a ‘fat to flat’ VLCC ad for a weight loss program on PornHub, the Call On Me singer responded: “That’s just messed up.”
As early as June 2021, Bebe promoted the movement ‘normalize 165lbs’ before tearfully confessing six months later, she was the “toughest I’ve ever been” and felt “disgusting in my own body.”
“I just weighed myself and I’m not comfortable sharing the weight because I’m embarrassed,” Rexha admitted on TikTok.
“I’m not feeling well, and if I’m not feeling well, I don’t want to post. And that’s really why I haven’t posted as much as I used to in the past year.
“I think all the body positivity that comes out of me is probably a place of pain and confusion. I don’t know how to help myself or how to love myself anymore.”
Last Friday, the Heart Wants What It Wants hitmaker slipped her curvaceous 5ft5in figure into a shimmering blue bustier and matching pants backstage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA.
Bebe was a surprise guest and performed her upcoming single If Only I during Two Friends (Eli Sones and Matthew Halper) DJ set at the Sahara tent.
Rexha will next release her collaboration with 16-time Grammy nominee Snoop Dogg called Satellite, which falls this Thursday in honor of the 4/20 stoner holiday.
Satellite and If Only I will be featured on the bipolar, sexually fluid star’s self-titled third studio album Bebe, to be released by Warner on April 28.
Bebe will next perform at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s The Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, FL on May 11 before kicking off her 20-date Best F*n Night of My Life Tour on May 31 in Phoenix, AZ.
