I aged my skin backwards in four steps without Botox or fillers – now I look younger at 33 than I did at 23

A beauty influencer has revealed how she ‘reverse-aged her skin’ to look younger at 33 than she did at 23.

Elle McNamara, from Derbyshire, known on TikTok, such as BambiDoesBeauty, claimed in a video that identification is still regularly requested on stages.

It seems she has miraculously banished the wrinkles and lines in her forehead that started appearing in her early twenties.

Her videos of her skin ‘transformation’ have been viewed millions of times online as people have been amazed by the fact that she appears to be aging in reverse.

Elle posted a ‘before and after’ photo of her skin ten years apart, showing how she had gotten rid of dark circles and wrinkles and evened out her skin tone – all without the use of Botox or fillers.

Step 1: Double cleansing

She said the first step was to properly cleanse her skin, which meant she stopped using makeup wipes and started “double cleansing.”

Looking at an old photo of herself, she pointed out “textured” and “bumpy” skin and noted that she was more likely to have spots in areas such as above her lips and around the hairline.

The makeup wipes prevented her from removing her makeup properly and the residue on her face caused stains.

Elle said, “Give this girl a warm, damp flannel and some cleansing balm. Because this is a makeup wipe face.”

She advised her followers that to properly cleanse your skin, you should “double cleanse” (wash your face twice) with an oil-based cleanser.

She added that using a facial steamer can also help to “soften and loosen” the skin and clear pores.

She said using retinol had helped her even out her skin tone, although it had faded her freckles

Step 2: Hydrate!

Her next advice was to use ‘hydrating’ products such as mists or serums to achieve a ‘lit from within glow’ and to prevent skin from looking ‘dull’.

Instead of paying big bucks for multiple moisturizing products, Elle recommended layering the same one twice.

Step 3: Use retionl

According to Elle, Retinol is an essential product to achieve an anti-aging effect.

Retinol is a product containing vitamin A that medical professionals say can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and pores.

However, some may experience redness, itching and peeling of the skin when using the product.

Elle herself started using retinol in her late 20s, which helped her look more youthful and reduced blackheads, pigment spots, congestion and fine lines.

Step 4: Wear SPF every day

Her final step was to use SPF on your face every day to prevent sun damage.

She recommended one with a ‘shiny’ base to encourage you to make it an essential step of your skincare routine.

Her fans online were stunned by her incredible skin transformation.

One fan said: ‘Why does it look like you’ve had Botox?’ while another said: ‘I’m obsessed with your skin!’

However, others were more doubtful, as one said they couldn’t see any “particular improvement”, while a second commented: “I think your skin only gets better as you get older.”
