Beauty Couch dead: foul play suspected after Instagram influencer’s body is found next to a burning vehicle
Police investigating the death of 22-year-old Instagram influencer Beauty Couch have said they suspect foul play.
The roller skater’s body was found on Aug. 23 near a vehicle that went up in flames in Austell, Georgia.
Couch had about 150,000 followers on the photo-sharing app, where she posted videos of her dancing while on skates, and recently launched her own roller skating classes.
The Cobb County Police Department said in a statement, “Based on the initial investigation on the scene, foul play is suspected and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Cobb County Police Department.”
The Austell fire service was notified of a blaze on Wednesday afternoon, finding a burning vehicle but no body initially.

Talented: Couch used her profile to share videos of her dancing on roller skates, and recently started teaching her own classes
They later learned from Couch’s family that the influencer was driving the vehicle and had not been seen since the morning before.
As a result, police returned to the area where the vehicle was found and discovered Couch’s body in the forest line, the release said.
No information was given about the possibility of survivors or suspects.
Local law enforcement has requested the involvement of the Cobb County Police Department, and they are investigating the case as homicide.
Couch’s mother Kimberly told WSB TV: ‘She was a sweet girl, she never bothered anyone. She was a friend to everyone.
“She loved to skate. She loved going to work. She loved her clothes. She loved wearing her hair so beautifully.”
Her last Instagram post on Saturday was a series of bikini photos with the caption, “He said I look good in red, might as well call myself sexy redd.”
The Cobb County Police Department’s release also encouraged anyone with information about the suspected murder to contact the tip hotline at 770-499-4111.
