Beaudesert, Queensland: Woman shredded to death by tractor slasher in ‘possible domestic violence attack’

A woman has died after being run over by a tractor slasher in what is believed to be a horrific case of domestic abuse.

Emergency services were called to a property in Woodhill near Beaudesert in southern Queensland just after 9am on Thursday.

They found a seriously injured woman, believed to be in her early thirties, but were unable to revive her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The property is believed to be a sugar cane farm where police have established a crime scene. A 44-year-old man is assisting with the investigation.

“Logan Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the sudden death of a 32-year-old woman at an address in Woodhill,” police said in a statement.

According to the statement, police were called to the property on Undullah Rd at 9.30am following reports of the sudden death of a woman.

“Upon arrival, police found a 32-year-old Woodhill woman deceased,” police said.

“A crime scene has been declared and investigations are underway.”
