A police officer accused of killing a TV star and his friend were labeled “the one most likely to be famous” in high school.
Beau Lamarre-Condon has been charged with the murder of Jesse Baird and his Qantas flight attendant partner Luke Davies in Paddington in Sydney’s east.
The revelation that Lamarre-Condon was named ‘Most Likely To Become Famous’ in his 2012 high school yearbook comes as a huge change in investigating officers and weapons likely to be imposed on NSW police after the tragedy .
Lamarre-Condon had a history of being obsessed with celebrities during his senior years in school, and the Kirrawee High School yearbook featured a photo of the future agent with a photo of himself with Taylor Swift.
He then met Lady Gaga at a concert in 2014 and came out as gay through a note he threw on stage to the singer, which she read, revealing his sexuality to her 15,000-strong audience.

The note that read, “Gaga, you are not only my idol but LITERALLY my (savior)” was his way of thanking the singer for giving him the courage to tell his parents he was gay.
He was taken backstage to meet her after the show and later said in a radio interview, “She came out for me.”
A close friend of his said that meeting Lady Gaga “was his highest high and it was like a drug for him that he kept chasing.”
“I remember Sunrise interviewing him after that Lady Gaga moment and him telling anyone and everyone who would listen about it,” the friend told the Sunday Telegraph.
Lamarre-Condon chased that high for years, the friend said, becoming obsessed with celebrities and the fame that came with being photographed or videoed with them.
He became a top celebrity blogger, interviewing Hollywood heavyweights on the Golden Globes red carpet and posting selfies with the likes of Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Russel Crowe, Miley Cyrus and Miranda Kerr on his blog.
Even long after becoming a police officer and following in his mother’s footsteps, he was still obsessed with celebrities and was spotted following Kourtney Kardashian on February 15 behind the wheel of a gray Tesla near the suburb of Rose Bay in Sydney.
And shortly afterwards he allegedly murdered Mr Baird and Mr Davies.
Lamarre-Condon allegedly purchased an angle grinder, padlock and weights after the alleged murders.
The alleged use of a police-issued handgun in the shootings has led to renewed calls for further investigation into such weapons.
Although GPS trackers are installed in police-issued radios, they are not used due to police union objections.

But some senior officers are now calling for the same tracking technology to be installed in weapons.
“Managers from various departments have been calling for these measures to protect their teams for years, but were repeatedly told it would not happen because the union refuses to condone officer tracking,” one officer said.
The senior officer said GPS trackers should also be installed in police-issued weapons so that police know where the weapons are at all times and can also track them ‘in rare circumstances where officers do not do the right thing with their weapon’ .

Lamarre-Condon’s friend said that in addition to being obsessed with celebrities, he also wanted to be seen living such a rich and famous lifestyle, leading many people to wonder if some of the photos he posted were fake .
“Did he just find a private jet to pose for or did he actually get on the plane? That leather Hermes bag he’s holding is worth over $40,000. You can’t tell me this is real,” the friend said.
Another person who knew him said people wondered how he could live the life he documented on social media on a cop’s salary.
“We always thought he either had a sugar daddy or it was all fake and he had recreated images from Photoshop,” they said.
Lamarre-Condon handed himself in to police in Bondi and was charged with double murder. The former celebrity chaser turned police officer has not applied for bail and will appear in court again on April 23. Lamarre-Condon is pictured with Lady Gaga (left) and Dua Lipa (right)
Police sources said Lamarre-Condon (pictured) used Mr Baird’s phone to text his housemates after killing the couple to simulate an impending interstate move
