Bear crashes a party in Mexico and heads straight for the buffet in front of stunned revelers

Hello, I’m on the list! Hilarious moment when a bear crashes a party in Mexico and heads straight for the buffet in front of stunned revelers

  • Guests at a party in Nuevo León, Mexico, were recently shocked by the presence of a black bear that decided to crash the event
  • A viral TikTok video shows the large animal sniffing and tasting food that was set up on a table while catering staff kept their distance
  • According to the Autonomous University of Mexico, there are about 38 black bears in the northeastern state

This black bear understood that it’s never good to waste good food, especially when you’re not invited.

The huge animal crashed at a party in the northeastern Mexico city of San Pedro Garza García and landed on the buffet table.

It examined the options available before choosing one of its main courses as shocked diners and caterers watched, a viral TikTok video showed.

The creature continued to pick up the food before a person filming the incident repeatedly instructed one of the workers to “leave him.”

The footage, shared by TikToker @ajferoli, showed the bear taking a break, apparently due to a full stomach, before standing on its hind legs and heading back for more.

The video has been viewed more than 84,000 times since it was posted on Saturday.

One of the followers said the animal deserved a beer, while another heard that the “bear wouldn’t pass up good food.”

A TikToker joked that the party planners were “to blame because you didn’t invite him, he definitely lives nearby.”

The incident was reminiscent of the stunning moment when a black bear interrupted Ricardo Morales’ marriage proposal to his girlfriend Cecilia Canabal in October 2022.

Morales was on one knee and about to put the engagement ring on Canabal’s finger when the mammal walked across a terrace in the Chipinque Ecological Park.

“Before the bear passed, we listened to the gardeners and the people from the hotel, from the restaurant, they told us not to be afraid,” Morales then told DailyMail.com. “There was no feeling of nervousness, of fear of the bear because it wasn’t aggressive.”

According to a study conducted by the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, the state is home to at least 38 black bears.

The Mexican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has recognized the animal as an endangered species, as parts of its habitat have become urbanized over the years.

Authorities are constantly sharing tips in case visitors to Chipinque Ecological Park or residents of nearby towns encounter bears.

They have warned people not to approach or harass them, and have also advised people to keep food away from the bears and not to leave any litter behind.

“Don’t feed them or throw food at them, and please don’t hit them,” the agency said.
