Meanwhile, on a recent episode of their podcast titled A Time To Reflect, Learn and Grow, Domenica and Ella discussed their show’s season 11 star and the online backlash that followed.
In their 35-minute apology episode, Ella began by denying claims from former fans who had turned on the co-hosts.
“Personally, I think if you’re a Sit With Us listener and have been a loyal listener for two years, if you actually think we’re supporting misogyny, I think it’s really stupid,” she began.

“We’re not doubling down here,” Domenica added. “Yes, we may have stumbled. But we strongly push back on the horrible comments that we are anti-feminist.
Elsewhere in the episode, Domenica continued, “This is something that I really want to say in the right way and I wrote down the notes. I have written so many words and notes in the last four days. I’m trying to put all this aside.
“But I understand now that having Jack on the podcast made people angry because it might have shown that we weren’t supporting women because we gave him a platform, and that was never what we wanted to convey at all.
“But because I upset people, because I made people feel uncomfortable and because I triggered them in that situation by having Jack there, I apologize. We never wanted to offend or hurt people by having him on the podcast. That was never our intention.’
Domenica echoed Ella’s statement at the beginning of the podcast, calling out the negative social media reactions that followed the release of their episode with Jack.
‘Thousands of hateful comments claim that we are not real feminists. And in the same breath they admitted that they never interfered with our content,” she continued.
Domenica later admitted that she still has a lot to learn when it comes to interviewing guests on the podcast, saying, “I don’t have a journalism degree.”
