A beloved BBC Two show is set to LEAVE the channel in a major schedule shakeup after six series.
BBC Two’s hit sitcom Two Doors Down is moving to BBC One after being renewed for a seventh series.
The comedy show, which began in 2016 and centers on a Scottish family and their irritating neighbors, has been critically acclaimed throughout its run.
Now, the BBC has confirmed that production on a seventh series will start this summer, with new episodes set to air later this year.
Co-creators Simon Carlyle and Gergor Sharp said: “We’re excited to spread our wings and tone it down as we introduce BBC One audiences to life on Latimer Crescent.”
It comes after Two Doors Down scored record viewership ratings for its Christmas Special last year, with 2.8 million people watching the special over 30 days across all screens.

Star Joy McAvoy, who plays wrestler Grado’s fiancée, Michelle, recently sparked speculation that the show could return for another run during an interview for BBC’s. Hogmanay show.
