BBC Sport presenter Emma Louise Jones has announced she is taking a break from TV due to her long-term health problems.
The 33-year-old football pundit, who regularly appears on MOTDx, said she was forced to take a step back from work after spending ‘more time in hospital than at home’.
Emma, who gave no details about her illness, wrote on
“I’m taking time off from work/life to focus on getting back to full strength. I’ll be right back’.

In September, Emma moved out just months after claiming she was repeatedly ‘harassed’ by a man who stopped her on dog walks and asked to take pictures of her.
She shared videos of herself on TikTok renovating her new home and filmed a tour for fans around her Grade II listed building.
Emma showed her around her four-bedroom home, while another showed her how to pull up the house’s old carpet and linoleum while her dog watched her.
The TV presenter said that while she knows she could have ‘called in the professionals’, she is ‘just as keen to do it’ [she] can ‘on its own’.
In the second video, Emma called the sprawling home a “project,” adding, “I’m enjoying the journey and I hope it will be as beautiful as I imagine.”
In July last year, the BBC star said she started feeling ‘uneasy’ when the same man approached her several days while she was walking her Maltipoo puppy Teddy.
He asked to take pictures with her and also made requests that were too mean to post online. The result was that the presenter was left shocked.

She decided to share the story on social media to raise awareness of this type of behavior that makes women/girls feel uncomfortable.
She told her 350,000 Twitter followers: ‘I would urge anyone who sees what looks like an awkward interaction not to just ignore it and walk past it.
‘You don’t always have to intervene, but just the presence of someone else nearby can be reassuring.’
