An informant told the Mirror: ‘Everyone is delighted with the love there has been for Los Traidores and a celebrity version is the next natural step.

“Viewers will be able to see different sides of some big names as they try to manipulate others or find out the truth about their fellow players.”

Host Claudia expects some big names to show up, and the star names a few people she’d like to see show up: “Victoria Coren, Kirsty Young, Adam Woodyatt, Stephen Fry, Alison Hammond… let’s do it,” she said.

The nail-biting spectacle came to a close on Thursday night when Hannah, Aaron and Meryl won the massive prize pool of £101,050, split evenly between them.

After her win, Meryl revealed that she hopes to follow in the footsteps of host Claudia Winkleman and become a presenter, while both Hannah and Aaron head in a new professional direction after leaving their jobs.

Hannah had quit her job doing care assessments before the show and now plans to become a full-time comedian.

Aaron has also quit his job as a real estate agent and is going on a trip in 2023, which he plans to document on YouTube.
