The US version of Michael McIntyre’s star-studded game show The Wheel has been axed after the single series tanked in the ratings

Created with Michael’s production company Hungry Bear Media, The Wheel has contestants ask questions while sitting in the center of a wheel with seven celebrities placed around them.
The one the contestant faces when they stop after spinning is the one who must help them find the answer.
Michael was reportedly raking in an impressive £13 million from his hit game show The Wheel after launching it worldwide.
Speak against Variety regarding the show heading to the United States in 2021, Michael said, “Hosting this show is the most fun I’ve had on television.
“The format makes for wonderful celebrity camaraderie, natural hilarity and genuine suspense. I can’t wait for The Wheel to roll across America.”
And it seems the excitement is mutual, as the president of Warner Bros. Unscripted Television’s Mike Darnell revealed that he and NBC “picked up” the show within just 24 hours of it being pitched.
