BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst makes VERY rude blunder and drops the c-bomb live on air as viewers are left in shock

BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst made a very serious blunder when she appeared live on the show on Tuesday.

Broadcaster 43 accidentally dropped the c-bomb while presenting a segment on money and business.

She appeared on the morning show with main hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent introducing her segment.

Jon said: ‘Let’s talk about the Budget next week and this morning there is a warning that the Chancellor should not cut taxes.

‘The warning comes from a leading think tank, Nina can tell us more – tomorrow Nina!’

The broadcaster then made the blunder in her opening line when she said: ‘Thanks Jon, yes when tax c****…’

Nina quickly corrected herself, saying the word ‘cuts’ more clearly after the rude word as she continued her sentence.

She said in full: ‘When tax cuts are announced, the public listens, which may be why the Chancellor has hinted at this ahead of the Budget.’

In response, one viewer wrote: ‘Say what you think @NinaWarhurst.’

Another wrote: ‘8.11 on BBC Breakfast, @NinaWarhurst was talking about ‘Tax Cuts’, except I think she used slightly stronger language!’

Another viewer replied: ‘I almost fell off my chair when she said it!’

Someone else wrote: ‘Oopsy. A slip of the tongue, made me laugh.’

A fifth wrote: ‘Brilliant save!’ as they reacted to the hilarious moment.

It comes after Nina returned to the show last month after maternity leave and affectionately declared her baby is the ‘best in the world’.

The TV news presenter welcomed a baby girl named Nance with her husband Ted in July – the couple’s third child together.

And in January, after her maternity leave, she returned to the television screens to present a study on the price of baby food.

After being excitedly introduced by newsreader Jon, Nina talked about how much she had missed ‘the gang’ on BBC Breakfast.

But she quickly added that she also missed her daughter and apologized to other parents for claiming her baby was “the best.”

Host Sarah Campbell started the morning segment by saying that baby food prices will likely fall, but only slightly.

β€œAnd we have the perfect person to look into this for us,” Jon added. ‘Because I’m happy to say it’s Nina, back from maternity leave. Nice to see you.’

Nina replied: ‘Thank you very much, it’s nice to be back. I missed the gang.

‘I’m really missing the baby this morning, but yes, it’s great to be back. Best job in the world. And the best baby in the world.”

She continued, “I know everyone thinks their baby is the best, but sorry guys, mine actually is.”

Nina made headlines about bottle feeding by saying she was keeping an eye on prices because of her own journey of “reducing breastfeeding and increasing bottle feeding” as Nance starts childcare.

Fans of the presenter were delighted to see her back in the BBC Breakfast team.

“The world may be depressing but it will look better at least we’re back on #BBCBreakfast,” one person wrote.

While another said: ‘Nina Nina Nina. How great to see you back at work. I missed you when you were on leave.
