BBC bosses stunned to discover The Traitors contestant’s topless photos online as questions raised over how they were missed by vetting team

As the hunt begins for contestants on BBC hit show The Traitors, bosses check for anything that could clash with its family-friendly image – such as having an account on raunchy website OnlyFans.

But sources were stunned when they heard that there were some very risque photos of competitor Livi Deane online.

Obviously there have been attempts to get rid of the topless images, but they are still there and are now causing a lot of joviality among Ms. Deane’s co-stars in private chats.

An insider said: ‘You’d wonder what some older Traitors viewers would think of the pictures.

‘She looks great, but they don’t exactly fit the family-friendly image the show has. It must be very frustrating [for the BBC] that they cannot be removed from the Internet.”

Bosses ask each contestant about their social media handles, including whether they have an OnlyFans account, so they can avoid inappropriate backstories.

Ms Deane, a 26-year-old beautician from Horsham, West Sussex, is not on stage, but the footage shows the BBC’s approach is not exactly foolproof.

Ms. Deane is a lingerie model and has appeared in the Portuguese edition of Vogue. She was also the star of a huge advertising campaign for fast-fashion retailer Primark after they spotted her online.

Her success is against all odds. Ms Deane lost her eye to cancer when she was 14 and now wears a prosthesis but sometimes poses in photos with an empty eye socket.

Meanwhile, fellow contestant Leanne Quigley – an ex-soldier who poses as a beautician – has revealed that if she lands the £120,000 prize money she would buy another round of IVF with her partner of seven years, Sophie Jones.

The former lance corporal had a harrowing birth after carrying their twin boys, Hudson and Harley, who were born three months premature and are now almost two years old.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘What should have been the best day of my life was actually the scariest.

“How can my heart be so broken, yet so full of love?”

But Ms Quigley, 28, is determined to try again. She said: ‘I would love the chance to have another baby, hopefully a bit of a better experience.

‘I was really bad throughout my pregnancy, and then I went into early labor at six months.

‘The boys were only 26 weeks when they were born. Because I was so bad at the time, I feel like I missed out on enjoying that newborn phase.

‘When they [the twins] came home from the hospital after three months, they were put on oxygen and it was quite a struggle to get them out.

“I’m so grateful to have them, and I’m so lucky they’re alive.” She added, “I will always keep my little boys in the back of my mind.”
