Baz Luhrmann was criticised by fans after he stepped out in Paris last weekend in a double denim suit.
The 61-year-old Elvis director was photographed with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour when the couple attended the Prelude To The Olympics event at the Foundation Louis Vuitton.
The acclaimed director had a mop of silver hair, cut in a style typical of the 1970s. He wore a light blue button-up shirt, matching light blue jeans and a tie of the same color.
Baz opted not to wear socks and completed his outfit with a pair of dark brown leather shoes and a chunky gold chain with a large gold B on the chest.
Baz also had a thin silver moustache to match his hair.
Anna wore a long-sleeved brocade dress with a thin gold belt and a pair of silver open-toe shoes.
She finished the look with some gold bling around her neck and her signature oversized black sunglasses.
The pair seemed very happy to be in each other’s company as they arrived at the event, sharing a few laughs along the way.
