Kane’s condition will be a major concern for Bayern boss Vincent Kompany as the Belgian looks to return Die Roten to the top flight of German football in his first season in Bavaria.
After being named the Bundesliga’s top scorer in his first season at the club, Kane continues where he left off this season.
In 11 league matches leading up to Saturday’s showdown, Kane scored 14 goals and added seven assists.
The 31-year-old has proven to be equally productive in Europe, with five goals from five starts in the Champions League as Bayern sit 13th in the league’s revamped format.
