Harry Kane’s new life at Bayern Munich has taken a new turn; it turns out he’ll be driving a glitzy new car.

Bayern has gifted its players new electric Audis this season thanks to their partnership with the carmaker, which has shares in the club.

The players were given a black Q8 e-tron, with the cheapest version costing £58,000, although they had a variety of models to choose from.

The ex-Spurs star picked up his new drive from Ingolstadt on Wednesday.

“I’ve already tried it (driving in Germany), but of course not with the new car,” said Kane BIL.

“I will slowly get used to the steering wheel being on the other side. So far I haven’t had a crash yet, that’s positive.’

Leroy Sane, Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Muller were among the twelve Bayern players who selected the Audi RS e-tron GT. Prices for the car start at nearly £120,000.

According to Bayern policy, they must drive their car to training sessions, matches and events in the car.

However, Porsches, Bugattis and Bentleys are considered acceptable as they are part of the Volkswagen group.

In April 2020, Kingsley Coman was reportedly fined £43,500 for driving his McLaren to practice instead of an Audi – but blamed a broken wing mirror on his attacked vehicle.

Bayern apologized to Audi as players are expected to drive to their training base on Sebener Strasse in their company car.

After his wife Kate gave birth to their fourth child, Henry, earlier this month, he explained his priorities when choosing the type of Audi.

He said: ‘I opted for a family car. Now that I have four kids, I just need the space.’

Audi has been sponsoring Bayern since 2002, funding the German giants to the tune of £43 million a year.

On his Bundesliga debut, he scored and assisted in a 4–0 loss at Werder Bremen to lift Bayern second in the table after one match.

At the event with Audi, he was pictured socializing with Leroy Sane, Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich.

The England all-time top goalscorer left Spurs this summer for £100 million in hopes of winning titles. Bayern have won the Bundesliga seven times in a row and have a strong Champions League history.

He was absent from his new club’s annual photo shoot in lederhosen due to Henry’s birth in England – a valid and well-timed excuse to shirk photographic commitments.
