Bayern Munich are ready to make a lucrative bid for West Ham star Declan Rice, reports show.
The England international has been linked with a departure from West Ham in the summer and has recently emerged as a key target for the German champions.
The Hammers captain has emerged as one of the best midfielders in world football in recent times and is destined to leave for what are regarded as a bigger club with more chances of winning major trophies.
Many fans would have assumed he would end up at Arsenal or Chelsea, as both clubs had already expressed their interest in Rice for a few months.
However, both sides could lose in the race to sign the England star as the German champion prepares for a sensational summer transfer for Rice.

Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly already made contact with the West Ham star
According to the mirrorthe Bavarian side are ready to make a £95 million bid for the West Ham star in the summer transfer window.
Bayern, who clinched the Bundesliga title in dramatic fashion, are reportedly hoping to beat their transfer rivals by moving to Rice early.
The same outlet claims that Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has already contacted Rice, who has expressed interest in joining the German giants.
Rice has been strongly linked with a possible move to Arsenal in the summer, but Bayern are hopeful their sizable offer will sway the bid in their favour.
Meanwhile, Chelsea had also been a candidate to sign Rice, but given their need to sell players and comply with FFP rules, it will be difficult for them to match Bayern’s bid.
Mail Sport revealed in January that Mikel Arteta had made Rice his main transfer target and that the Gunners remain interested in Granit Xhaka leaving the club.
Rice has spoken openly about his ambition to play in the Champions League, which would boost Gunners’ and Bayern’s chances of clinching the star, now that he’s qualified for next year’s competition.
The Gunners, meanwhile, are said to be concerned interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Man United could allow West Ham to ramp up their demands.
