But Liz Cambage, 32, opted for sweet over spicy this year when it came to picking out her Halloween costume.
The American brunette shared a photo of herself dressed as a strawberry on Instagram Stories on Saturday as she prepared to go out on the town with her friends.
The 2.06 meter tall athlete showed off her long legs and wore a cute strawberry print leotard, complete with a leaf-inspired headpiece and green fluffy leg warmers.
“GMO filled, not organic berries,” she joked in the caption.

Her playful post comes after it was revealed the door has been closed on Liz ever playing for her country again after Opals head coach Sandy Brondello said there will now be no more second chances.
The Australian Opals exited the Tokyo Olympics in the quarter-finals after a bitter rift developed between the players and Cambage over alleged racist comments she made against Nigerian players during a practice match.
With the Opals now looking to qualify for the Paris Games, questions have been raised as to whether lost child Cambage would be welcomed back into the ranks.

Brondello’s response was blunt.
“No, it’s our decision,” she said News Corp.
‘In the Opals program you have to fit in with the culture we had. Liz did great things for the Opals, but towards the end it was too much work, and we don’t need that. We have a short time together and one player cannot overrule the team.
‘It’s all about the culture. We spend a lot of time on culture and if you can’t relate to the culture, I won’t choose you. It’s that simple.’
