Barstool’s Dave Portnoy gives his verdict on Donald Trump’s performance vs. Kamala Harris in ‘tag team’ Presidential debate
Barstool’s Dave Portnoy has taken to social media to give his verdict on Donald Trump’s performance against Kamala Harris in a “tag team” presidential debate.
Trump debated Harris for the first time on Tuesday night, after President Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy for re-election in July.
Portnoy had previously said the “tough” Trump would rocket to victory in November after he was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania.
After Tuesday’s debate, it appears that this claim has changed.
“I don’t think it’s going well for Trump so far,” Portnoy said. “It probably doesn’t help that it’s a tag team match, but yeah, not great.”

Portnoy later also posted: ‘Have you met Putin? Simple question. No answer. No clarification from moderators.’
Conservative commentators and Portnoy have blamed ABC moderators for their live fact-checking of Trump, with some arguing it is an unfair debate.
Portnoy revealed that he was on the plane when Trump was shot in July, but when he landed he insisted that Trump would now effortlessly triumph over rival Joe Biden.
The Barstool Sports executive posted on X: ‘Just landed and missed an (assassination) (sic) attempt. Holy shit. What a bad response from Trump. The election is over. He’s the next president. The Dems need to give up. They can’t beat him now.
“Can we also stop the hate on both sides? This country is tearing itself apart. Let the voters decide. Voting for one side or the other doesn’t make you Satan.”
Portnoy also posted a photo of Trump on his feet with his fist in the air moments after the shooting. He wrote, “The election is over.”
He also criticized Biden for the delay it took for the president to comment on the situation.
Portnoy continued: “How can the President of the United States not say a word in over an hour, while a former President and current Republican candidate just survived an assassination attempt? WHERE IS @JoeBiden?”
