Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy lost a lot of money betting on Joe Burrow – and he’s not happy with the Bengals for ‘lying’ on their injury report.

Burrow, who played Thursday Night Football vs. left the Ravens with a wrist injury and was later ruled out for the season, was seen before the game with a black sleeve on his throwing hand.

However, the quarterback did not receive an injury assessment heading into the game.

So after Portnoy put $120k on the Bengals to cover a four-point underdog spread, he felt extremely affected by Cincinnati and even threatened Cincinnati with legal action.

“I’m filing a class action lawsuit against the Bengals and the NFL for lying on the injury report,” he tweeted after the game on Friday.

Burrow had no injury, but was previously seen wearing a brace on his hand

And Portnoy was furious after his big bet on covering the Bengals was unsuccessful

“There’s no way I’m putting 100,000 hard-earned dollars on the Bengals if I knew Joe Burrow was injured coming into the game. This committee owes me an apology!’

As seen in a screenshot Portnoy posted to X, he would have scored $229,100 if the Bengals had covered the four-point spread.

Instead, when backup quarterback Jake Browning was forced to fill in for Burrow, the team lost 34-20.

He also said on Friday: “Refund all bets!!!!!,” Portnoy tweeted. ‘You can’t do this in a legalized gambling world. ‘Refund all bets!!!! PRISON FOR ALL.”

Joe Burrow was seen with his right hand wrapped before Thursday’s game against the Ravens

While it seems unlikely that Portnoy will get his money back, the NFL is reportedly investigating the Bengals as to why Burrow was not listed on their injury report going into the game.

The quarterback was also seen with a clearly wrapped right hand as he stepped off the team plane.

The Bengals could reportedly be fined or lose a draft pick if it’s proven they broke a rule regarding reporting Burrow’s injury.

After the loss they dropped to 5-5.
