Former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson delighted the crowd at Alexandra Palace with his performance of Sweet Caroline.

The crowd at the World Darts Championship certainly enjoyed his performance, which created a great atmosphere.

He also sang the 80s song ‘(Something Inside) So Strong’.

The darts cheerleaders joined in with his performance by dancing along.

There was much applause for Williamson, who is often referred to by the name of his EastEnders character.

Williamson played Barry Evans in EastEnders from 1994 to 2004.

He later appeared in sitcom Extras as ‘Barry off EastEnders’; a satirical version of himself.

There were some major upsets at Alexandra Palace on Sunday, with some big names eliminated from the tournament.

For example, Gary Anderson suffered a shocking second-round defeat against Jeffrey De Graaf.

Fellow seeded players Ross Smith, Martin Schindler, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Ritchie Edhouse were also eliminated.
