Barry Williams reveals Brady Bunch cast ‘all hooked up with each other at some point’
Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch, talked about behind-the-scenes action from the era of the iconic sitcom.
The show ran from 1969 to 1974 and is celebrating 55 years since its premiere on September 26, 1969.
“We’ve all been in contact with each other at some point,” Williams, 69, said We weekly. “Not necessarily while we were filming.”
Williams – who attended the Race to Erase MS Gala earlier this year – also revealed which Brady kid dated his on-screen sibling.
‘I was in a relationship with Maureen [McCormick]and Chris [Knight] dated Eva [Plum] and Michael [Lookinland] and Susan [Olsen] had a little marriage of convenience at one point. So yes, we are all connected,” he added.

The connections coincided with the age at which each of the characters played.
Greg and Marcia were the oldest, Peter and Jan were the middle children, and Bobby and Cindy were the youngest.
But the flirtations weren’t just limited to the Brady child actors. Williams also revealed that he was in love with his on-screen mother, Carol Brady, played by Florence Henderson.
“I definitely had a teenage crush on her,” he said. “And she has a very lively personality and a great sense of humor, but I knew I wanted music in my career [in] acting, and that’s why I talked to her a lot about that.
‘I found this singer when he came to the Copacabana near Beverly Hills. I can’t think of exactly where it was, but I invited her to go out together, and she said, “Okay,” so I was very happy. And now it was a date for me,” he explained.
It was a night to remember for Williams, who said the two were recognized while out together.
“We got recognized, and so people whispered about us, which is strange, but we talked about the singer, his orchestrations, the band he had and what touring was like,” Williams recalls.
“And she gave me an idea of what that life would look like now at the end of the date. And this is also in my book,” he said.

And Williams remembers the night fondly.
“I went in for a kiss and and, and she was nice enough to give it back,” he said.
‘So it was a highlight. Nice little cock, yes,” he added.
