Barry Keoghan hit by claims that he ‘CHEATED on Sabrina Carpenter with a TikTok influencer’ as the pair split after a year-long romance

Barry Keoghan has been hit with unsubstantiated claims he cheated on Sabrina Carpenter after it was reported the pair had split after a year of dating.

A source told People that the couple has decided to go their separate ways in an effort to focus on their respective careers.

Now, a blind item on gossip site Deuxmoi has claimed that a rift between a rising pop star and her “foreign actor boyfriend” happened because he cheated on her with a “semi-famous TikTok influencer.”

Although the item didn’t mention Barry or Sabrina, fans were quick to claim the piece was about them.

The item read: “Looks like this A-list singer, who is having her breakout year, and her foreign actor boyfriend are done for good.

‘On the closing night of her biggest tour to date in LA, he was busy getting cozy at San Vicente Bungalows with a blonde, semi-famous, LA-based influencer (who is especially big on TikTok).

“I did a little poking around out of curiosity and apparently he and his pop star girlfriend called it quits very suddenly, less than a week before her final shows in LA, after she found out he’d been dating that influencer behind her back for months.” was chatting. -completely innocent…’

The item also claimed that the influencer had ‘even gone looking’ [Barry] while he was filming in Britain, and was keen to keep him company while his girlfriend was on tour in the US.

They added, “He had messed up before and she had forgiven him, but nothing so serious and infidelity is where she draws the line.”

Following reports of the split, fans of the couple couldn’t contain their feelings, taking to social media to express a mix of sadness and relief over the breakup.

“Damn, the fans are going to do that [go] furious,” someone astutely wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Well, happy new beginnings for both Sabrina and Barry if it’s true.”

“Omg I’m heartbroken,” another fan added, including a broken heart and sobbing emojis.

‘Shame. Oh no. Sad to hear,” one poster wrote.

But another fan, who seemed pleased by the report, wrote: “Good because she can do much better.”

One fan baselessly theorized that the seven-year age difference between the pair led to the end of their relationship.

‘I told you guysssssss that this was never the age difference at all duhhhhh [sic]’, they wrote on X.

Another fan made a lame joke, referencing Sabrina’s hit: “The guy said he wanted some decaf and was tired of espresso.”

Some fans joked that they thought they had a chance with one of the new single stars.

“Good to know he’s single now…” someone wrote about Barry.

There were few public signs of trouble in paradise for the all-star couple.
