Barron Trump rides his personalized Mercedes and poses with mom Melania on a tiger in throwback footage

Barron, the only child of Donald and Melania Trump, is seen driving his own personalized Mercedes in throwback images from 14 years ago.

The video, shot in the spring of 2010, shows Trump’s youngest child, then four, trying on a very expensive-looking gold watch and riding a giant stuffed white tiger as he takes part in a photo shoot with his mother.

The Entertainment Tonight clip opens with a young Barron, dressed in a smart white shirt and matching shorts, as he gets into his red car, complete with a personalized license plate, as he reverses the toy vehicle across the marble floor.

It then cuts to Barron parked in front of an ornate large gold desk, at which Melania sits, wearing a chic black suit and matching high heels as she poses for photos.

Barron seems oblivious to the camera’s constant clicks, but shouts, “Help!” as Melania quickly jumps out of her chair and starts pushing him around the room in his mini Mercedes.

In the next few scenes, Barron is dressed in a black suit, complete with a white shirt and black tie, while Melania looks super glam in a floating asymmetrical dress and gold heels as she sits atop the giant white tiger.

The mother-and-son duo appear to be in the living room, which is filled with cream-colored sofas and matching cream-colored and gold armchairs, as well as fancy chandeliers and glass tables.

As Melania tries to control her son for the sake of the photo shoot, Barron rudely tells her to “get off” the tiger while telling her, “Your house is that way!”

Trump then enters the room and remarks, “Wow, what a beautiful photo that is, I don’t want to interrupt that photo… that’s a great photo.”

Moments later, he tries to discipline his youngest child by telling him, “Barron, be a good boy. Come on, you’re almost ready, be good, hug mommy like you love her, show her how much you love her.”

During a filmed interview, the businessman talks about Melania’s role as a mother, telling the reporter, “She’s a great mother.” She is a very sweet, beautiful mother and there is nothing more important than her son.’

Trump also says he “appreciates” his older children more since Barron was born and also reveals whether he and Melania have plans to expand their brood.

‘I mean, it’s always possible. That’s certainly possible,” he says when asked, but Melania has a slightly different answer.

‘Well, I say I have two kids… I have a big boy, Donald, and I have a little boy, Barron, so my hands are full right now, especially with the business I started, the schedule is really …really busy,” she said.

She then adds, “I’ll never say never, but for now…sometimes you don’t sleep enough and you just go, everything is a balancing act and everything will work itself out.

“The first role for me is to be a mother and wife and then a businesswoman because Barron still needs me, he’s only four years old and I want to be there for him.”

Later in the video, Melania gives the reporter a tour of their home and reveals that Barron has an entire floor to himself where he can partake in his “messy” playtime.

When asked how she keeps little Barron from getting his “sticky fingers” everywhere, Melania replies, “Well, he doesn’t do those kinds of projects here.” He has a whole third floor big enough for all his projects up there.”

“So here he has his Mercedes and he’s running around and driving around. We play here, but the messy projects stay on the third floor,” she added.

The throwback clip comes just days after Melania was mocked for ‘smothering’ her son as she prepared to split her time between New York and the White House in Washington, DC to become a ‘full-time mother’ after Trump’s presidential victory.

The 54-year-old wife of the sitting president is reportedly trying to stay out of the spotlight during her husband’s second term, with many insiders claiming Melania will take on a ‘part-time’ First Lady role.

Melania has been virtually invisible throughout the 2024 race and it appears her reluctance to pursue a political life will continue into the newly elected president’s second term.

She appears to want to avoid the chaos surrounding DC, with reports that she will only make occasional visits to the White House.

After Donald is inaugurated in January, Melania will split her time between Florida and Manhattan, spending most of her time in the Big Apple, where Barron attends college.

Although the former model is shying away from her duties as First Lady, she will focus full-time on mothering their son, who is enrolled at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

While her 18-year-old may be eager to run around Manhattan, Melania appears to be keeping a tight leash on her son, a move that has sparked a wave of backlash from people telling her to “cut the umbilical cord.”

Barron was most recently seen onstage with his family at Mar-a-Lago on election night as his father accepted his victory in the 2024 presidential race against Democrat Kamala Harris.

While on stage, Barron stood at the very front, next to his father – a theme that seems to be in line with how the family feels about him.

After analyzing photos of the youngster over the years, body language expert Judi James has determined that Barron is the apple of his parents’ eye.

James told DailyMail.com exclusively that Donald and Melania have used “very similar” body language displays over the years when it comes to their son.

“Their trait of showering him with kisses seems mutual and Barron’s reactions suggest these aren’t just performative signals for the cameras,” James claimed.

“He seems used to all signs of amorous affection and attention, while his parents are keen to show that he is the center of their universe,” she added.
