Barron Trump was going to be the biggest sensation on campus no matter how he tried to play it.
A video obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com offers a glimpse into the extraordinary college life of the 18-year-old freshman at New York University.

With a backpack slung over one shoulder and an understated, casual look — a polo shirt, slacks and the season’s must-have sneakers, Adidas Gazelles — Barron, who began his studies at the prestigious Stern School of Business earlier this month, is doing his best to look like any other student as he heads into the fall semester.
But judging by the breathtaking social media responses calling him “handsome,” he is quickly establishing himself as the hottest guy on campus.
As the youngest son of Donald Trump, he is used to being constantly followed by Secret Service agents.
According to DailyMail.com, Barron spent his high school years at the elite Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, with agents at his side. His university life will be no different.
In this video, his team of agents can be seen clearly escorting him through the halls and classrooms of NYU. They are a constant presence, both a few steps ahead of him and a few steps behind him.

Clearly visible in the video is his cadre of officers guiding him through the halls and classrooms of NYU, a constant presence both a few steps ahead of him and a few steps behind him.
According to a classmate, Barron’s security guards had to turn away more curious students who wanted to take a selfie with their famous classmate.
The student told DailyMail.com: ‘Some people tried to talk to him and take pictures of him when they first saw him. He has been quiet in class so far.
‘There were several guards at the door before class and we had to show them our IDs.’
Students have previously complained about the intrusion the extra security could cause on their daily lives. They were all required to show a valid student ID to enter campus, and queues formed to get into the business school.
But if the Trump camp was worried that Barron might be a target of hostility at the notoriously liberal school, they apparently needn’t have worried, because, as one student put it, “nobody wants to bother him or harass him. I wish him the best in college.”
The former president first shared the news of Barron’s college choice with DailyMail.com, saying, “It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school.”

Trump, 78, also revealed that his son considered his father’s alma mater, The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, but ultimately chose NYU.
“I went to Wharton and that was definitely one we considered. We didn’t. We went with Stern,” he said.
“He’s a child with very high potential, but he’s not a child anymore. He’s just moved on to something beyond being a child. He’s doing great.”
But even though he’s no longer a child, Barron’s decision to attend college and remain at home in his father’s Fifth Avenue Trump Tower in downtown Manhattan was a joy for his mother, Melania, 54.
Melania was very protective of her son and her desire to keep him close reportedly played a role in Barron’s decision-making process.

As a child and young adolescent, Barron had the added security of being enrolled at Oxbridge Academy under the pseudonym ‘Jack’.
It is unclear whether similar measures were taken to protect Barron’s student record and grades from potential security breaches at NYU.
Only 1 in 20 applicants to NYU’s Stern School of Business graduate. Undergraduate tuition starts at around $62,700 per year, and class sizes range from 45 to 100 students.
Barron, who is described by his high school peers as intelligent and charismatic and who also has political ambitions of his own, must complete a cohort leadership program and a course in business and culture in his first semester.
He will catch up on his credits by studying microeconomics, statistics, world cultures, natural sciences, or an elective during his fall classes.
According to sources, Barron has not yet signed up for any extracurricular activities. He skipped the “Stern Spotlight” event during the first week of school, which highlights clubs and associations.

Barron is Melania and Trump’s only child, born a year after their marriage in 2005. He spent his early childhood in New York before moving to Washington DC with his father’s presidency.
Before moving, he gave his entire class at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York a tour of the White House in 2017, the year his father took office.
He attended St. Andrew Episcopal School in Maryland and played for DC United’s under-12 soccer team, where he met the franchise’s biggest star: former England striker Wayne Rooney.
He largely stayed out of the spotlight during his father’s presidency, but according to DailyMail.com, he quietly blossomed into an engaging and charming young man during his teenage years.

Barron appeared at a Trump campaign rally in Miami on July 9, where he confidently imitated his father’s fist bump pose and received a standing ovation.
He was not there when gunman Thomas Crooks tried to kill his father four days later, but Trump admitted he saw the horrific events live on television.
He did not attend the subsequent Republican National Convention, but he did get a shout-out from his father at the July 18 event, when he told the enthusiastic crowd, “We love our Barron.”
