Auctioneer Charles Hanson, a familiar face on Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip, took to Twitter to share a photo of a charity shop in Burton where the undervalued treasure is located.
The item has left social media users baffled as to where and what exactly it is – as he gave no clues – especially with so many other possible rare gems surrounding it.
So can you track down the treasure that caught the auctioneer’s eye?

Hanson posted a photo of the cluttered shelves in the store on his Twitter page, imploring his followers to join his game. He wrote: ‘Evening all! … Track the Treasure is back.
“Can you spy and follow the antique treasure I saw on a thrift store shelf today.
Good luck and reply tomorrow afternoon. Make a memory and name it!’
And hundreds of social media users commented below the post, making their own guess as to which item was worth the big bucks.
The original tweet had been viewed more than 201,000 times and generated hundreds of guesses.
One person on Twitter circled the troll doll in the bottom left corner and wrote, “If this is an ’80s original, it could be worth a pretty penny.”
Someone else wrote: ‘Draft horses. I wanted to say I like the ceramic alpaca, but I think it’s the draft horses.’
While a third person commented, ‘The charity shop staff must be terrified when you walk through the door. Given that the sale benefits charity, will you let them know that they have underpriced valuable items? Maybe like this sugar bowl and jug?’
And another user thought out of the box and guessed something no one else had. They zoomed in on a silver cup and wrote, “Because no one else seems to have suggested it? Seems like if it’s worth having a box, maybe it’s worth a bit more.”
A fifth said, “The little vase behind the dolphin, or the crystal bell.”
However, only a small number of people got it right – despite some users on Twitter even double guessing.

Had the item been found in pristine condition, it could have fetched as much as £120, Mr Hanson told Derbytelegraph. But due to the damage, it was valued much lower.
To provide more details about the find, Mr Hanson shared a close-up photo of the vase, writing that it is ‘rubbed with gilt work’
He can be seen just left of center in the photo behind a dark blue porcelain dolphin.

He added, “It’s rubbed with gilt, but a nice find!”
However, the item was not found in pristine condition as there is a chip on the top of the neck.
Had it been found in better condition, it could have fetched £120, Mr Hanson said Derby telegraph. But due to the damage, it was valued much lower.
He added that the item was bought for just £1.50 but is now valued at £40.
